What is Tennis Frontier? And is it associated with this forum?

tennis frontier is the fastest growing tennis forum on the planet.
it is run by folks I can be proud to call my friends. and they are also friends of Camelot.
I have listed them at our "in search of excellence" thread.
I do not ever wish to view tennis frontier as competition.
overall market is large enough so we all can grow and chart our own courses.
baron, tented, and moxie are the owners of tennis frontier.
they are all members here.
they are good people. Camelot doors will forever be open for them.

Let me begin by making it clear that I do not, under any circumstances, read everything which is posted on Tennis Frontier. In fact, quite a bit probably gets posted without my ever reading it, for various reasons. (I sometimes worry people think I'm ignoring them because I don't reply, but it's simply because I don't see it.)
With that in mind, I'll ask how often have you ever advertised this site on Tennis Frontier? I know you've mentioned it a few times, but please feel free to mention it more often.
Also, consider putting it in your signature so that every post is sure to advertise it.

The forum will be fine.
Do you have it listed in Google, Bing, etc.?
I forget how you do it specifically, but when you start a website there are tag names that you enter so that your name comes up whenever someone is looking for tennis forums.
So, for other people to find your tennis forum you would list words like tennis forum, online tennis forum, tennis talk, etc.
Since you're the administrator, I'll sure you've seen it.

I would've been here more, but I was taking a difficult class and didn't have time to figure out how to post correctly. I'm still trying to figure it out.

guys we have simply too many admin people here.
it makes us look ridiculous to have 500 admin and nobody posting.
right now a lot of people are just laughing at us.
we need the numbers before we can do more in my opinion.
I think emma is right. lets first just see if we can get a few numbers going.
there are no requirements here and no demands. there are zero membership fees. people can be a part of Camelot if they find it in their heart to be a part of it.
quite frankly I am just about at the limit in terms of asking people to give us a bit of a helping hand and a bit of a jumpstart.
I have done way too bloody much for other forums and it now looks like nobody is bothering to return a little bit of kindness.
and I have been kind to everybody I have ever come across at these forums only to be attacked and insulted in return. that is one hell of a way for some of these people to pay me back.
we will just be a small family of a few if that is what it has to be.
I quite relish the odds now. we start with nothing and with the whole world abandoning us.
that is the kind of challenge we need for our souls.
we will take it from here.

But respect is earned, dearest. Anyway, I have no power here and frankly, I don't want any but if I knew a few people I would have brought them here. I do know some actually but because I am so busy lately I don't find enough time to communicate with them.
People have different tastes. I, personally, like to know that I have some say in the forum I'm helping out.

It was my BIRTHDAY! I celebrated, so I was busy instead of posting. Sorrrryyyyy for not posting on the one day a year I get for having fun.

I think we look kind of ridiculous in the eyes of the world for having so many admin members when all we have 2-3 people posting here.
let me figure out the best possible deal and best possible format.
there has to be an incentive for us to hand out these admin positions.
I was refused when I first asked them to give you a mod post at tennis4you. that is how stingy these forum owners are.
hell I had to ask them several times to get masterclass and javi mod positions.
it was like pulling teeth.
nobody is being demoted here general.
I am going to remove some of those admin positions until we have a few numbers here. we just look like total clowns and fools for having 15 admin members and nobody posting here.

herc, don't do anything that's going to cost you since this is still such a small forum. We don't even need smileys. Not now anyway. Let's see how it goes for a while and if it picks up during AO etc. People do want to be there where they have an audience, unfortunately. You've done more than enough and if you ever feel tired, then by all means, collapse it. We have other forums to post so it's not like we'll be left completely alone. I really wish I could help you in more ways like bring posters, keep them engaged etc. but I barely find much time to be online and be on forums these days.

anyway I just fixed it. I was just thinking that just about everybody either left or they just don't care to have a place they can call home.
it takes about 3 years if you start from scratch and with damn near no support.
I think we can all still enjoy the best of all worlds. I am a member of tennis frontier and tennis warehouse myself.
we still needed our own place that we can call home.
I am not going to stop caring about this place but sooner or later I will get tired of asking people to help with a little bit of jumpstarting it so it can be on its way to sustaining it by itself.
I talked to some retired pros this afternoon but why the hell would they stop by here at all if we cant get any support at all.
I mean there is just nobody here except for me, you, emma, and general tee.
so will downgrade our expectations and kick back and relax. it will all work out one way or another.

i have tired to reduce the number of categories. lets see how it works out in the coming month and two.
our home page was too busy looking. we want simplicity and people need to be able to get around all of Camelot in less than 1/2 a second.
that means they have more time to post where they want to post.

fortune favors the brave general freaky. we are not afraid to take on this challenge of creating something from absolutely nothing.
we will brave the slow period and rise from the ashes one day and the glory will belong to us and us alone. within 3 years we will have this forum up to speed and making us some money. you can make book on it.
looks like pretty much the whole world has abandoned us. this is precisely the kind of challenge we needed.
still we have some of the greatest posters ever lived on our side. that is enough. we will find a way eventually.

there seems to be very little interest in tennis at the moment with the decline of Roger Federer. lot of folks I know are just depressed about it.
so they are just not posting much.
I can get us some advertising and start generating some easy income for us once we get this site off the ground.

I use it for live scores, latest tennis news, all the upcoming events. even the smaller events like the challenger events.
they have an immense amount of information at that site.
