LOS ANGELES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – Kim Fields, Shamea Morton, Sheree Whitfield, and Marlo Hampton are not the only new or returning faces coming to RHOA 8 this fall. LALATE can exclusively report that Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 will add yet another cast member. Who is the mystery RHOA 8 wife, is her name Tammy or Sammy, is she getting a peach, and what happened to Amiyah Scott?
LALATE was the first to report that Shamea Morton will be the shade-stirring RHOA breakout star of the season, as Porsha Williams’ beautiful new friend. And Morton appears to be at ease with Kenya Moore, often seated and posing for pictures near Moore.
LALATE first reported that the RHOA 8 (first) cast trip was Miami, first in villas and then a private yacht. Filming has concluded. Shamea was on the trip looking stunning in jaw dropping bikini outfits. The scenes are being edited now for the trailer in the next 2 weeks. The season then debuts this October.
While Morton is expected to get an official friend credit, Kim Fields is expected to get a peach. Fields was on the cast trip in Miami. Also initially in attendance in Miami was Kandi Burruss and friend Carmon. Not in attendance was Scott. Marlo Hampton was also not on the Miami trip.
But is there a new mystery cast member joining the RHOA 8 cast as friend candidate? Yes there is, LALATE exclusively report. Sources tell LALATE exclusively that the above woman in blonde hair behind Porsha filmed scenes in Miami. Even more shocking the mystery blonde is not a late entry to RHOA 8 production. Yes, the above cast picture with the blonde female was snapped in Miami. And the lower picture with the blonde in front of a green hedge (and Porsha wearing the same Princess Thotland garb) was also snapped in Miami. But sources tell LALATE that the blonde did not just start filming RHOA this September. Rather the mystery blonde was photographed filming RHOA scenes back on July 13 in Atlanta, playing tennis (pics on the right).
LALATE anticipates that your RHOA8 peaches are Kandi (lead), following by Cynthia, Sheree and Kenya, on the one side, followed by Porsha, Kim and Phaedra, on the other side. The likely credited friends this season are Shamea and this woman. UPDATE: Amiyah Scott is joining the cast, LALATE can confirm tonight.

Wow- I missed that Instagram in March.
Question- did you see Kenya's Instagram video of her in Vegas and the camera panning from her to the tall bald guy standing in front of the stage that looked an awful lot like James? I thought that was odd. I saw it the night of the fight but I dismissed it - then FLY brought it to my attention again and I was like ok- I'm not the only one seeing this.

.....Nothing wrong with that at the right time but, I could see her moving too fast right then. She needs a smart friend who is willing to tell her these things.
A lot of beautiful, smart girls are not so smart about men. It has nothing to do with the man they pick or knowing how to love a man. They are smart about how to love- they are just too aggressive initially. Driven women often have that problem. They go get what they want. It is admirable but, it most times it just doesn't work with men.
Still he is a grimy POS. He should have told her his intentions when he saw that she wanted a real relationship and something is way off about him to go through the lengths he did to cover his tracks.
OT: You mentioned earlier that Nene is not mentioning her show. I wonder if it is because it got put on hold because they have to start filming RHOA sooner than they normally do?
They seem more than cozy judging from the pictures and TT said she spends a lot of time their during the off season. But, he's a player, so there's that.
Yes, she's not to smart about relationships and I don't even know why she tries. Her life is too busy and she has too many things going on, so I don't know how she would even fit someone in, especially commitment-wise.
Definitely, nothing can stop him from being a POS. The way he went about everything is totally unnecessary. But then again, Kenya does seem to be aggressive as it pertains to men, so who knows?
Yes, they do have to start filming in a couple of months, but I don't know if they've even decided who stays and who goes, besides Kandi, Kenya, and Nene. This would have put Nene's spinoff on hold. I'll bet she's mad, but if she had anything to do with fiasco, it would be poetic justice.
Wouldn't it be funny if the show didn't happen? That's happened a lot with Bravo and spinoffs. The promises are written in the sand. Phaedra and Apollo were supposed to get a spinoff, until he got caught. And Peter was allegedly getting one, but I don't know what happened with that. I like Peter, but in wee doses. I doubt I would watch his spinoff and I definitely don't want to see his weak-minded wife. Seriously, Cynthia is too old to be so naive.
I'll bet Nene is mad. She just bought that house and she no doubt needs the money.

I know. They were talking about Funky Dineva, but I didn't care for him, at all. He was too loud. I can't stand people hollering when they're talking.
I went to the other place and the tide is really turning in Kenya's favor. The stans voices are getting fewer and less vocal. Kenya is winning.

I used to check out Funky Dineva but, I got turned off after a while plus, last I checked which was last season- he's not a fan of Kenya's.
I have to say his description of Chuck Smith being scared during the pillow talk fight was hilarious. I didn't even notice it until he pointed it out. When I went back to check out that scene of him behind his wife Mynique, up in the book shelf, I died laughing.
That was the turnoff for me too. He was going in on Kenya and I was like, naw. You ain't about the truth, bro. LOL.

He was no married on the show, or for months after that they dated. They saw each other a good bit in March. Then he marries in April and never bothers to tell her?

Kandi Celebrates Her Birthday and Premier of Kandi’s Ski Trip

Last night all the RHOA including Demetria came out for Kandi’s premiere party and birthday party at Suite Lounge. Well, everyone except Nene and Peachless Porsha. The event started with a premier party and then moved on to a full on birthday party at a second location.
You really must check out the photo of Phaedra with Derek J’s supposed boyfriend. They are apparently in a contest for worst hairline. Derek doesn’t really claim to have a boyfriend. But this guy must have a golden dool for Derek to date him. Phaedra’s hair was Nene Leakes bad. Do pause on the photos.
OFF TOPIC: ****. I just lost power. So many storms today. On the bright side, I was finally shamed into cleaning the stupid white ceiling fan. NEVER buy a white ceiling fan. I never turn mine off so when the power dies, UGH. Power is still out. Sirens going off everywhere. I can’t leave this page or I will lose my work. It’s so damn quiet. I guess I will go walk Banjo I started happy hour a bit early today. I feel like I need a Spring Break. It’s one of those days where you just want to call in sick and sleep and watch bad TV WITHOUT HAVING TO RECAP IT! lol. I love blogging, but I do it EVERY DAY 24/7 it seems. I’d like a day off but the beginning of the week is NOT the time to do it. Especially after I futzed around yesterday while the views plummeted.
Update: Took Banjo for a long walk. There were RIVERS of water feeding into the drain pipes. I was curious to see if his Lab side would land him in the water. It eventually did right by the drain pipe. HE NEARLY GOT SUCKED AWAY! I had to pull him out by the neck. Everyone was outside without power. But when I got home the power was back on. So I am waiting for the router to reset.
Um, back on topic…
Despite Kandi posting the photo of her and Phaedra with the caption “Jesus fixed it” word on the curb is Phaedra showed up after most of the other housewives had left and Kandi and Phaedra had civil, but not overly friendly interaction. Also, the neighbors claim that Phaedra had her mother and THREE sitters at the house today. Now we know why, allegedly. Partying all night?
Back to the party, after the premiere party Kandi’s family answered questions from the crowd. The entire Old Lady Gang was there answering questions. Mama Joyce said she and Todd have since made up.
There was a fancy birthday cake, but most guests were thrilled with the banana pudding, according to my sources. The take away included a cupcake in a fancy package that spies raved about.
Claudia and Kenya and were a tight trio at the party. EVERYONE who is in a reality show in Atlanta seemed to be there. My sources had too many for my tired brain to list here. There are LOTS of photos with Kandi, and the trio and very few of Phaedra and Kandi.
It was Kandi’s 39th birthday and after all the partying ended, Todd swept her off to an undisclosed location for a vacation.

Porsha didn't show up. Surprise, surprise. Nene was at P Diddy's. You know she wouldn't have let Porsha tag along. When will they ever get it?

I t seems that Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss have resolved their issues and are back to being good friends. On Sunday, Kandi celebrated her birthday by holding a big birthday bash. In attendance were many of her The Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars, including Phaedra, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Claudia Jordan, and Demetria McKinney.
Kandi posted numerous photos of the party. One photo shows Kandi standing next to Phaedra, with their arms around each other. Kandi’s caption for the photo included a take on Phaedra’s favorite saying “Fix it Jesus.” Kandi, likely in reference to her broken friendship with Phaedra, declared that “Jesus fixed it!”
On Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the state of Kandi and Phaedra’s friendship was a major storyline. Good friends for several years, their friendship with one another took a hit when Phaedra felt that Kandi wasn’t there for her as she went through the demise of her marriage to Apollo Nida and his incarceration. Phaedra publicly said that NeNe, and not Kandi, was there for her the most and that she’s disappointed in Kandi.
As the season aired and Kandi watched the episodes, she was incensed that Phaedra spoke to NeNe Leakes and Porsha Williams about her feelings regarding their friendship rather than to her directly. Kandi was especially hurt over Phaedra’s comments that dismissed the issues that Kandi was going through in her own life at that time. At the reunion show, Kandi emotionally confronted Phaedra about her comments.
“Phaedra, when you sit up there on TV and was like, ‘Well she just lost a business deal… money can make me happy…,’ as if that’s the only thing that was going on… I told you about the prison situation with my other family member. And I told you what was going on. Even when I mentioned to her about the play being cancelled, she was like, ‘I saw that somewhere.’ It wasn’t like she texted me saying, ‘Girl I hate that that happened to you.’ So it’s just like to me, it almost ends up being like a lopsided friendship with you always expecting me to be here here here but you ain’t doing that. When she graduated, I blocked my calendar so that I could drive HOURS to see her and be there for her. And every time they [Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey and Claudia Jordan] say something, I always stand up for her. So to see her trying to play me like, oh all I cared about was money, I was like, ‘Really? Oh okay. Well you ain’t gotta worry about it no more.'”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, during an interview after filming the reunion show, Kandi said “whatever” to the prospect of being friends with Phaedra again. Kandi admitted that she’s not sure that she can trust Phaedra again and be anything more than cordial acquaintances.
Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Claudia Jordan, and Demetria McKinney also celebrated Kandi’s birthday with her. Kandi posted one photo of herself with Claudia, Kenya and Demetria and another photo with Claudia, Demetria and Cynthia.
Porsha Williams seems to have missed out on Kandi Burruss’ birthday party. Not surprisingly, NeNe Leakes wasn’t there either. It’s likely that NeNe didn’t receive an invite and even if she did, she wouldn’t have accepted. At The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion show, NeNe admitted that she was referring to Kandi when she tweeted about her number one hater on the show. Kandi responded by outing NeNe for blasting people with private information once they’re no longer friends and outright told her that she doesn’t like her “superior, stank a** attitude.”

Some of Kenya Moore’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars may have publicly revealed their reactions after Kenya herself revealed early Tuesday morning that the man she has been dating for months, James Freeman, whom she met on Patti Stanger’s Millionaire Matchmaker, is actually married.
About an hour after Kenya revealed the shocking news, newcomer Claudia Jordan, who was introduced to Real Housewives viewers as a friend of Kenya’s, tweeted about being wary of those who will do anything to be on TV. Many people guessed that Claudia’s tweet is about Kenya’s situation. Several people asked Claudia if Kenya is okay but Claudia so far hasn’t answered.
Another person who seems to have responded to the news is Porsha Williams. A few hours after Kenya revealed James’ married status, Porsha tweeted about karma. Several people bashed Porsha for being so heartless.
If Porsha’s tweet really was about Kenya’s situation with James, it wouldn’t be surprising that Porsha wouldn’t feel any sympathy for Kenya. Porsha and Kenya verbally fought on the season 6 reunion show and Porsha even ended up physically attacking Kenya. On season 7, their relationship with one another didn’t improve. At one point, Kenya Moore, along with Claudia Jordan, accused Porsha Williams of being with an older, married man from Africa for money and gifts.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, it may have actually been Porsha who helped Kenya discover that the man she was dating was not who she thought he was. About a week ago, Porsha tweeted that Kenya should be worried about the married man she was with in Las Vegas.
On Tuesday morning, Kenya shared her heartbreak with her fans via Instagram.
One person who has remained silent so far is Millionaire Matchmaker star and matchmaking business owner Patti Stanger. Since Kenya Moore shared her news, Patti has tweeted an advertisement for her matchmaking business and a message of thanks to a hotel. Patti, despite people asking her about it, has remained silent on the Kenya and James situation. Several people told Patti that she should have done a better job on doing a background check on James and that her matchmaking business now has no credibility.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – NeNe Leakes, RHOA cast changes, the future of Sheree Whitfield, and the impact of Teresa Giudice are now impacting programming decisions at Bravo, LALATE can report. NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss and Kenya Moore are returning for RHOA 8, LALATE first exclusively reported several weeks ago. But now, one cast member is set to join the show, and Teresa Guidice’s prison sentence is impacting RHOA as well, LALATE can further exclusively report.
NeNe Leakes, Kenya and Kandi are confirmed for RHOA 8, LALATE recently reported. But who is getting fired on RHOA, and who is getting hired? A source tells LALATE that, after RHOA 6’s Reunion debacle, Bravo wanted Porsha Williams gone, but kept her due to her strong fan base. Her losing a peach, however, had nothing to do with Claudia Jordan. Rather produces were initially not set to bring Porsha back but did, and elected to downgrade her status because of the 2014 reunion, not because of Claudia Jordan.
Second, Sheree is not joining RHOA. But LALATE has not gone a year without hearing fake hiring and firing stories on RHOA. It’s about as predictable as the Ground Hog looking for his shadow or In Sync not reuniting. Every year, Sheree and countless other fake reports surface about RHOA hiring. Tamra Braxton, NeYo’s wife, and others have led these hilariously wrong reports season to season. Even a shady ATL blogger has even once (wrongly) written about herself joining the cast. LALATE forewarns fans that they should expect the same to surface in the next few weeks.
Third, producers are likely to give NeNe Leakes two to three full housewife allies on the show, to even out the balances. LALATE knows one person who is likely up to join the show if she wants it, but that decision has not been made.
Fourth, Teresa Giudice is impacting RHOA, LALATE can report. Sundays on Bravo are anchored for the last eight years by RHOA and RHONJ. RHONJ typically runs April to October. But with no RHONJ yet (and yes it is coming back), Bravo is rushing RHOA back into production sooner, starting next month. There is a fear that nothing will anchor Sunday well until RHOA is back ready to air, with the exception of Nene, Kim and Kandi’s spinoffs. In short, RHOA generally airs in October. But don’t be surprised if Bravo gets it back on air several months earlier.
