Rain has delayed play in Stuttgart today till 4 pm at the earliest.  Looks like the doubles matches have been rescheduled for tomorrow.

Rest of the week forecast looks better.

Thanks general.

Today Nadal and Feli Lopez start by playing doubles at around 4 pm Stuttgart time against 37 yr old Tommy Haas and 36 yr old  Radek Stepanek.

Other interesting matches:

Troicki vs. Coric at 1 pm
followed by:
Kohlschreiber vs. Dolgopolov

#1 seed Rafael Nadal  plays either Marcos Baghdatis or Lukas Rosol in his first match.

#4 seed Gael Monfils is in Rafa's half along with Philipp Kohlshreiber and Tommy Haas who is due to make 1st return to the court after injury that has kept him out since Roland Garros, over a year ago. Nothing comes easy.

#2 seed Marin Cilic and #3 seed Feliciano Lopez are in the bottom half.

Who will take the 1st grass event of the season?
