With strange alacrity
There appears to be a willingness to intercede
To join and attend formally
Observational apathy and unwillingness
To interact this act
Reluctance to display the true avidity
For the stalking feels like trolling
The watching is about controlling
Yet it’s delinquency and lacking efficiency
Gotta hand them their dedication to continue on their obsession

Blood thirsty need to conquer and kill

Blood streaming down his ear and across his face

Eye strain, aching pain
Lower back, head ache
Caregiver burnout intensifies a sense of loss
Loss of freedom,
Loss of possibilities
Stress elevated
Sleep debated
Unusual reactions and distractions
Knowing the unknown yet knowing the known.

The struggle is real
She is tired of fighting
Tired of having to repeat herself umpteen times
Not being heard
Pleadingly she looked deep into his eyes
Her heartfelt appeal
He didn’t budge
What once was love
Is now hate
His anger on high alert
His baritone voice sounds like a squeal
They lost the excitement for life
He led multiple lives
She struggled with the one she thought she was in a faithful marriage
His narcissistic behaviors coming to the fore
Habits she thought was adorable before
Is confusing and depressing
Her pain has elevated throughout her body
She feels gut punched to her core
It’s over she thinks
He isn’t finished with her yet
They seem to have moved on
The anger is strong and the game is still on

The deep grieving sensations that cause you to tremble
The unforgiving and the unforgotten
Trying to make sense of every preamble
Being persuaded or dissuaded
With rhetoric that makes no sense
Yet it’s cyclical it’s it’s repetitive nature to pressure you to alter
Your thought process
Inspired to recall that the yesterdays and the yesteryears
Are behind you for a reason
Seasons changing not allowing access
Formulate your own thoughts away from the forced stranger
The masks are off
Time to relegate your direction
Out of danger
When the streets are filled with hatred
And the grunting of homelessness f*rting and defecating
On the streets in daylight
Looking you square in the eye
Certainly time to face it and redirect
To wherever you need to go
