Watched as the water lapped against the earth
New babes wetting their feet
Lake still cold
But the sun is shining
The animals frolicking by the waters edge
So good to see the rebirth

Miraculously destruction free
Observing the evolution of safety hat
Whilst watching construction slowly progressing
As chaos ensues in our varied sections of the cities
Everyone is running in place

Reminding me what seems important today
Will most definitely move in a different way

Fathers beating their sons and daughters
Babes barely out of the wombs of their mothers
Disgusting behaviours
I cannot unsee what I have seen
Saddest part is the treacherous acts of the father
Being taped by someone else
And no one coming to the poor child’s defense
