I recall watching the movie "the last of mohicans"

there were waterfalls in this movie.

I am not sure which falls they used for that movie.

I love Daniel D. Lewis! Great actor. I, however, have not seen that movie.

I did look it up and it mentioned 4 different falls that were used in the movie, all located in North Carolina.

I have done some heavy duty mountain biking in north Carolina.

obviously I missed the falls.

north Carolina is beautiful.

great actor indeed.

he has at least academy awards which is more than anyone alive today.

I think Katherine Hepburn may have had 4 of them.

I saw "the last of the mohicans". I strongly recommend it.

it is old but it is fascinating. I am sure the book was better but it is still a good movie.

Books usually are better, but with that cast I am sure they did a fantastic job.

I have never been to NC. I did travel TN and KY when I was in a traveling singing group about 15 years ago and they were beautiful as well! The mountains are amazing!!

Nantahala national forest is where I did a lot of mountain biking.
