new Orleans saints did not fare well against the seattle seahawks. they just could not get untracked.



now they have another formidable opponent in Carolina Panthers.


this is not going to be easy but I think the saints will be ready. I say they get by in a close game.

Well CD, your prediction was wrong. The Saints ended the Panthers 8 game winning streak. My favorite play was Roman Harper's flip of Cam Newton when the tried to run with the ball There was no miracle finish for the Panthers. We'll see how things go on their turf in two weeks. But it looks like the Nfc playoffs will go through Seattle....

affirmative general greenteam.


I was a little worried about Carolina and their superman.


I thought we might be able to get by but not by much.


now I am feeling more confident.



Seattle has been quite lucky in their run. I think now that luck is about to end.

we learned a lot from that last game. I also believe it was an outlier:

we are a lot better than that. we just could not get untracked that day in Seattle.



on another note, I am going to create a "Picture and Art Gallery" for the New Orleans Saints here.

stay tuned. I will start on it tonight with some pictures from their 2009 super bowl win.

The Superbowl should be an interesting event. New outdoor stadium in New Jersey. The Farmer's Almanac is predicting near blizzard conditions. Bring in extra field crews to keep the field visible. Just hope fans who paid big bucks get to see anything.  Could game be postponed or delayed. Should be an interesting halftime show!

I think game of that magnitude and importance should always be held indoors.

we have enough indoor stadiums in this country.

I was at a bar last night, drinking scotch and have a blast! I have no voice left this morning LOL

What a game! Finally the Chargers defense made some big plays and held Denver to 20 points. Great win, it would be a shame if we don't make the playoffs!

Nice call, General! Can you call Baltimore and Miami losing 2 of their last 3, please :)

they held them to a season low in scoring, yardage, and first down.

and manning choked in the clutch.
