(I'm on a business skills course at the moment, followed by bookkeeping & accounting courses, computerised accounts & then I've got to redo my computer courses as the ones I've taken are now out of date. After that I'm being trained to teach adults to read because they're going to start teaching adults to read at work. As I've already learnt to teach under-12s English & maths I'm the 1 who has been asked to do it. *I've just got lots of homework on at the moment.*)

Although it was sunny, a thunder storm was raging,
The tempestuous past between England & Scotland wasn't aging.
Spears & arrows were raining down.
In drops of blood people could drown.
Drops of blood & tears were falling,
While on the battle-fields soldiers were brawling
In the distance looking on, women were screaming & babies were bawling.
Thunderclaps were rending the air
While wounded & dead people laid everywhere.
Swords like claps of thunder were clashing.
While soldiers their foes were bashing
& their enemies they were thrashing.

I will do, Lady Divine. (I've felt pretty uncertain of my writing the odd once or twice this year. Some people have told me I don't write poetry, I write a set of related sentences that rhyme. I know that that's 1 of the definitions of poetry though it can be more or less. When I feel better about myself I argue that I'm a blooming good rhyme artist.)

It’s all about perspective.
Also as an artist, allow yourself the freedom to make mistakes.
When that happens, we can write and let it unfold, letting it flow.
It’s allowing you to expand as a poet.
True, not all of it will feel good at first.
The beauty of it is, leave it as is, then go back and tweak it, if you feel inclined.
Also, when you go back to read it at a later date.
You’ll be surprised at what you’ve created.

Doubt creeps in, in all facets in life.
Always happy to see you create.

I know. I just needed to take time out & just think that's their opinion. More people like my poetry & class it as poetry than don't. The people that don't either don't know anything about poetry at all or like modern "disjointed words scattered on a page" style poetry. I'm very impressed with a couple of pieces I created this year.

Why is Sage
all the rage?

It is hard to use.
It blows my fuse.

I prefer using spreadsheets or doing things the old way.
It's taking all my time to keep self-critical thoughts at bay.

I really feel so thick.
I really want my wounds to lick.

Thank you very much. I wrote it when I was frustrated with my computerised accounts coursework. I didn't think I could get past 1 of the tasks. I'd followed my tutor's instructions & kept getting error messages. In the end I found a way that worked quickly & more easily & I got straight through. (I felt as if I was constantly hitting a brick wall the way I was told & kept messing up. I made a big mess trying to make things right then had to be reset. I didn't think I could do it & I really felt very thick.)
