This is a tricky match. On the one hand I want Andy to win it, but since he's so up and down I'm not sure how he would do in the subsequent matches. It's really hard because it would be a great confidence boost...I just don't know what to think, but for sure I will be glued to the TV set tomorrow night.
OK, OK, Andy for the win and let the chips fall where they may.
Hello everyone. I hope you are all enjoying the USO.
I'm currently quite busy. The other day I applied for a job as flight hostess. The recruitment process has 5 stages. So far I have passed 3 of them (online tests). I got my results by email this morning. Now I have to wait some days or maybe even weeks to arrange a telephone interview with the flight company. If everything works out, I will be invited to a personal interview followed by some tests, group activities and a medical check. I have never wanted to work as flight hostess because I'm afraid of flying. Their offer sounded too good to be true though: 6 months of work during the summer season and 6 months of paid holidays.

Money isn't everything. Go for it. Time is the most precious commodity there is. Good luck.

i think he is moving in the right direction. he just needs to take his fitness higher.
The Greatest day in history just unfolded before our very eyes, folks. What a happy day! I cannot be anymore happy for both Nishikori and Cilic. The are the real winners.
Having dinner with friends tonight and yes, lots of wine to go with it. Time to live and time to celebrate!
I'll get back to you all later.

Kind of shocking, kind of not. Will be nice to see a new slam winner.

Que pasa princess Emma.
I still can't believe it. I bet the whole world got this wrong.
Nobody was able to predict this outcome.
Pathetic US coverage to start with. No profile on players, no actual footage of the players stepping in to the court, no nothing. Just a typical courtesy whom they beat on their way to the final and then we were thrown into the match in less than 10 minutes. USO has very quickly become the most pathetic Slam for me - with their rigged draw, biased schedules and most of all, the pathetic crowd - especially against Cilic. It is a heavily corrupt organization. I am sure if Federer or Nadal had made the final we would have never heard the end of it and CBS would have covered at least an hour just doting on those two to the point of pure vomit. I get that they are the biggest draws but enough of is enough. Let us see the new generation. Let us get to know them. Let us let them shine too. Let us give them a chance too. Do they not deserve it? Because last time I checked they bloody beat all the top player to come this far.
Inever really liked the USO scheduling to begin with because this has been the case for years now where a particular player would get all sorts of favours, but this year it has taken a new low perhaps lowest of all lows. It was already quite pathetic when last year they put the defending Champion (Murray in this case) play on Wednesday at pm at night when all the matches had been completed and some even completed their 2nd round matches. Talk about treating the defending champion in the worst possible manner.
Pathetic Slam, pathtic organizers, pathetic crowd. It's now my least favourite Slam along with the French Open (FO mostly because of the annoying crowd)
But what a slap it was from Cilic against the crowd when he remained cool and continued to serve great to dismiss their idol in straight. Finally he was able to put all his fears aside and play like a man. Good for him and good for Nishikori.
This year has definitely started with a bang with Wawrinka claiming the first Slam of the year, followed by Nick Kyrgios taking Nadal out from Wimbledon in the 4th round. And now finally, Cilic who took Federer out and Nishi who took Djokovic out. One of them will also claim the last Slam of the year. What a wonderful story. I hope it stays that way next year and so on with Andy Murray of course leading the pack.
I haven't got a clue who to support though. lolol But it's truly a win-win situation for me. Whoever wins I am very happy but my heart will be broken for the other one!
Cilic however is up in the 1st set 5-2 but I suppose Nishikori hasn't settled in yet.
I actually browsed around a bit llast night just to see what's going on in other forums and sure enough I came across threads like 'who wants to see this boring final'. 'I have better things to do.' etc. etc. Several similar threads. So pathetic - mostly opened by Fedal fans and some Djokovic fans. These players brought all the trolls in the world, unfortunately. You can tell judging by their reactions that that's all they live for or care for. If Nadal loses then all Federer fans are too quick to celebrate and vice versa. I have even see some pathetic Federer fans bring up the doping accusation and silent ban that Cilic had to go through not so long ago once he beat Federer. So these fans are now very up in the arm saying Cilic doesn't deserve to be in the final. Because clearly other than their idol, everyone's a doper especially if they beat their idol on a regular basis. Most of the forums are crawling with these fans that's causing never ending bickering among them. What great state of shame tennis has become over the last few years. I'll be honest -I can't wait for some of the top player to retire. The so called Federer fans are too much for my taste and the controversies surrounding Nadal is too much to handle and it's just ruining the sport that some of us love so much. This game has sunk as low as possible since the start of the 00s because of the non-stop ganging up of fans on each other.
I am really hoping for the new generation to come forward after this and take over or else I don't see myself being on any forum. It's been too long anyway with some of them never wanting to retire.
