this has been allowed to go on for way too long now in tennis.

I think it's a tactic they use to intimidate the opponents. Both Shara and Aza are on it. Monica was genuine or so I'd like to believe. And she was the only person in the 90s who's screaming was noticeable. Speaks volume about this era.
