Yea, I just found out. Looks like masterclass posted it right after. Too bad. I wonder if his career will suffer more because of this. I really enjoy his game and he brings so much to the table. So sad all these injuries really.
just a friendly reminder sports fans:

long live the great dunblane warrior. and long live the great "ANDY MURRAY NATION".
Hi funny in that I thought Acapulco was clay for long time. I saw Andujar playing Andy and freaked a little because of that lol but still tough match even on hardcourt.
great to see you around anikh830.
I think andy will do well on clay this year. he continues his comeback.
so far so good. I am glad the back is holding up. he is only going to get stronger now as the season progresses.
anyway I agree with you: this is going to be a decent test for Andy. Pablo is playing well.
Andy has to serve big today. or he has to take care of his serve anyway. that will keep or leave the pressure on Pablo's side of the net.
hopefully Andy can get this done in straights.
Anikh, Acapulco was on clay and Nadal even won that title just last year on clay. However, they changed it this year to hard. I would have actually liked it on clay as crazy as it sounds, but since hard is more of a natural surface for Andy, I think he should continue to play on hard. Besides, next month we have two Masters on hard courts (IW and Miami) so this will give him some more match practice if anything. Not sure what to expect from him though. Will just watch him carefully. I do feel he lacks motivation a bit too (on top of lack of match practice) after that huge victory at Wimbledon.
Thanks ClayDeath good to be here. Yes Andy will have gained confidence on clay from his Davis Cup showing.
I think this is classic match where Andy needs to be aggressor. If he dictates play he will be fine. Otherwise Andujar does have weapons and it could get awkward. Hope Andy has practiced well and his confidence is up to go for his shots.

Herc, no need please! We already have a Murray Centre and all Murray fans are more than welcome to talk about Andy here at Emma's Cafe 24/7 and that's really more than enough!
Andujar is actually quite aggressive in his own approach and Andy has never played him before so I think it's a very interesting match-up.

I hear ya. that is well put.
I think you are spot on. Andujar will really have no choice but to go for more because of Andy's court coverage.
so Andy, for his part, has to construct and build his points and then go on the offensive as quickly as possible or as quickly as the opportunity permits.
Yes Emma very interesting points on Andy. I do think he is motivated its just that he has not got into his rhytham yet. I just feel he is almost playing 'back to basics' tennis where he is a bit passive which is his natural game from his youth . Once he gets into that aggressive mode and sticks with it, I think he will be fine but that comes with confidence.
anikh830 when did you first discover Andy?
