affirmative lady emma.

that sounds good. I only changed the name slightly for marketing purposes anyway.

it send out the perfect vibe for the Andy Murray fans all around.

Andy Murray Nation just sounds more inviting.

Oh sorry, I misunderstood you. I thought you were going to open another Murray thread but you just wanted to rename the existing Murray Centre to Murray Nation. I like it, thank you.

Yes Emma very interesting points on Andy. I do think he is motivated its just that he has not got into his rhytham yet. I just feel he is almost playing 'back to basics' tennis where he is a bit passive which is his natural game from his youth . Once he gets into that aggressive mode and sticks with it, I think he will be fine but that comes with confidence.

I just saw a different Andy at DC - motivated and focused. It felt like as if he was almost back. But then I watched him lose in the next tournament and that was a different Andy though I am sure Cilic is very in form right now, but still, Andy's serves and general baseline game was off. Confidence was lacking for sure. That's when it struck me - perhaps he's not as motivated in the Singles anymore. Just a feeling and I hope I am very wrong. And recoveries take time of course and confidence comes with enough match play. Acapulco will a bit more I am sure.

I wish though Andy wasn't at all patriotic but unfortunately he is. That's the only flaw I see in him. I wish he was more individual and focused. He would have achieved much more by now but he was more focused on being loved and expected by everybody in the UK. Love and acceptance would have come with results - sounds shallow but that's how people generally are and Brits are no different in that regard.

I want to spend a few quiet days by a very nice ocean so I am on a hunt for a really good destination. Suggestions are welcomed. I am missing the ocean a great deal.

PuntaCana? Cuba? Costa Rica? The Bahamas?

so many players just jumped right in at this event directly from clay.

dolgoplov is here also.

I have been saying this for years but nobody ever listens: clay to hard courts is the easiest adjustment. all you need is a few hours of practice and you are good to go.

its clay to grass that is the hardest.

the year Nole won in Toronto, he had flown in from his country where he had competed on clay the day previous. so what does he do?

he goes on to beat all the top players--including Federer--to snatch the title.

go to the Bahamas. it will be cheaper and also quicker. you can get there in a hurry.

and the Miami south beach is not far away from there either should you decide to go check it out.

I would fly to Miami or fort Lauderdale and take a cruise ship to the Bahamas.

Looks like our dear baron only comes here to defend his position. I mean when was the last time he was here for no reason but just to have a cup of coffee? That big ego gots to go!

Did you know herc darling that 99.99999999999% people in the entire world spend their time just trying to defend their point of view? In fact all the wars that you see and all the different political views, all the religious differences, all the bickerings in every day life including sports, etc. are just people trying to defend their own point of views. They have an opinion and they believe they are right and then they defend it as if there's no tomorrow. Alas, we are a very sad species.

I don't wanna be on a cruise ship. Just want to stay in a cottage by the beach for the entire week all by myself. It would have to be a very safe and quiet beach. I really don't enjoy being in a crowded place so want to avoid being with people as much as possible. I don't like the noisy city all that much. I especially dislike being with people all the time. They totally drain me.

So Miami is no go for me. I like the sound of the Bahamas but not sure about a very quiet beach. I'll have to shop around I suppose. I am sure I will find something. As long it's very safe...

Oh yes spot on regarding Rafa. Takes a good guy to know another one and I am not surprised he and Andy are friends as they are both genuine, humble guys. Always love when they talk fondly of each other. Out of all the sportsmen who have won everything in their chosen sport, Rafa is the most humble guy ive ever seen. So easyfor him to be arrogant but hes not.

I agree, anikh. I've always liked both of their demeanor and personality. They are good souls and it comes across that way. They are not only respectful to each other, but to their opponents as well.

Pure class.

Rafa gets abused like there is no tomorrow at some of the larger tennis forums but then what are to expect from the legless, toothless, hate riddled trolls.

tennis warehouse and MTF are notorious for blindly hating Rafa. they used to hate Nole and his family even worse at MTF if that is possible.

I might add that Andy does not get much respect at tennis warehouse and at MTF either.

this is one of the reasons we have Camelot. we think hate is just a wasted emotion and a huge waste of valuable time and energy.

we tend to look at the bright side of things at camelot.

So true. I don't understand it. I love Murray's game and personality. Always have. He's just sincere and his game is so darn smart. You never know what he's going to do. That's what I like about watching him. He's like the chess man, LOL.

Andy is very down to earth and it shows. he is just a cool dude off the court.

Berdych continues to rack up match wins: has won 15 matches in 2014 now and at least 9 in a row.

he will face Tsonga next.
