http://www.atpworldtour.com/Scores/schedule.aspx?EventId=807Andy will take on Simon.
Ok Clay thanks appreciate it. Does sound exciting that. Will be glad for you to do that for me.
affirmative. I will work on it tonight.
Hey guys, just logged in from my phone to let you know that I am having issues posting from work computer as it keeps blocking me citing "phishin" or "spam" (lol) site. So will have to post from home. It's weird cause I don't encounter this problem with any other forums.
Thanks Clay and hi Emma oh technology hey! Can hit you when you least expect it. Hope it wont spoil your enjoyment of website at all.
afternoon sports fans.
I am out running around by the ocean.
will be home in a couple or 3 hours.
anikh I will work on your super sig when I get home.
Oh enjoy your run Clay. Certainly sounds like nice backdrop for it. Oh dont worry you take your time. Andy will play around 2am UK time . I dont think too much sleep for me tonight
tough match for Andy tonight. Simon is fairly consistent off the ground.
Go Andy. Get rid of him in straights.
Thanks Clay and hi Emma oh technology hey! Can hit you when you least expect it. Hope it wont spoil your enjoyment of website at all.
Oh, it has nothing to do with technology issues. Our office server is just detecting this site as something that may carry malicious software so it's blocking me from logging in. I can view it though.
I watched parts of Andy vs Andujar match and none of last night's match.
You are right about one thing Anikh. Since Andy's natural game is not that of an aggressive one, after a long break, it takes him time to make that passive to aggressive transition again. This is only due to lack of confidence - at least initially. But this is actually a very common problem for all the aggressive players as well, but the difference is, they stay aggressive regardless even when they lack confidence, because it's their natural style. However, they make a ton of errors while trying to build the confidence back into the game. Now one can say, passive game is not all that attractive but I find an aggressive game that is very prone to errors is just as much unattractive.
I hear ya anikh.
andy just has to go for it. Ferru can be overpowered.
I like Dimitrov but I am not sold on him to a point where I think he can beat Andy on the hard courts.
anything is possible if you believe. just look at what Andy achieved at Wimbedon. he beat the #1 player at the time who had declared that he was ready for the final.
it was a decisive victory. Andy has that kind of belief.
Hola herc, why Dimitrov? Gulbis is more in-form at the moment than Dimitrov but I am not sure how fresh Gulbis is at this point given that he has just won a title last week and beat some really worthy opponents in the last few weeks. At this point, a fresh Gulbis would pose more threat to Andy than Dimitrov, but let's see how the match between Dimitrov and Gulbis pans out tonight.
But of course, Andy has Simon to sort out first and he'll make Andy really work. So it's a tough match indeed despite the H2H. Andy needs to be aggressive if he wants to save some energy for the semi.
Gulbis may be a little fatigued emma. dimitrov had one hell of a tournament in Melbourne but I have not seen anything from him since then.
I am afraid he is not quite in the same league as the top guns like Andy.
Simon will make Andy work but this is the kind of work Andy needs to get ready for the later rounds.
Andy definitely needs Simon at this point. In fact he needs to play the likes of Del Potro, Tsonga, Berdych, Wawrinka, Isner etc. before he meets with the likes Nole, Nadal, Federer etc. That's the only way that will make him tough again and match-fit - not to mention the confidence factor
So who are you picking between Federer and Nole tomorrow? I guess most of Nadal fans will side with Federer but I will go with my man Nole.
emma your sig definitely rocks.
I need to work on anikh's sig ASAP and post a few version here.
I had picked Federer to win Dubai so I better stick with that prediction.
Nole is an absolute beast on hard courts. it is a tough assignment for Federer. lets see how it goes.
here is the order of play for tomorrow for Dubai:
http://www.atpworldtour.com/Scores/schedule.aspx?EventId=495how about Berdych. what a year he is having so far. he has won 10 matches in a row. he might surprise us all and take this title.
Callling in sick tomorrow, guys. This thing inside keeps bubbling up since last week.... not sure if's cold or flu. I've got a sore throat and also feel rather sluggish and today I felt the worst at work. So that I should call in sick and make it a long weekend rest up plenty.
