Oh sorry to hear that Emma. Hope conditions become better for your health and you get better soon too. Poor Clay must feel like resident doctor with us walking wounded :-)

We should give him hugs so that we can spread our good...deeds.

Come here, herc. Let us give you a sweet and long hug.  ;D

no thanks. I don't want to get sick.

So on Saturday late at night I got very curious about Andy's match because that's when it finally dawned on me that Andy was supposed to play Rosol on that day to my utter and drunk surprise. I was moderately drunk so I go online and I go to Camelot first to find out about the score (could have easily gone to ATP but no) of all places and I see this thread's name to the right top corner and the thread's name reads 'Emma's Cake'. And I was shocked! I thought 'how could herc change my Emma's Cafe to Emma's Cake???' Only a few seconds later, after a much closer look, did I realize that I was reading the name wrong. After that I giggled a lot realizing how drunk I was. lmho!

I thought I'd share this lovely and yet drunk story with you guys. ;)

they like the food at these casinos. the food is sensational there.

also it is just a bit of an outing for them. once or twice a month I get them a room with a great view of the ocean.

little entertainment is ok but I agree with you. some of the older folks are addicted to those machines at the casinos.

casinos take in 75%-80% of the revenues from the machines so you know somebody is winning. it is certainly not the customers.

When are you going to arrange that for me and my lovely friends?

I kid.  ;D

nothing wrong with a little bit of extra drinking once in a while lady emma:

excess on occasion is exhilarating. it prevents moderation from acquiring the deadening effect of a habit.

how is that for your philosophy thread? now I did not make this up. I saw this quote somewhere long ago and just happen to remember it just now.

I am the resident doctor for this week anikh.

we will appoint emma the resident nurse for next week
. we will promote her to a nurse practitioner if she does a good job.

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

And I will take my job very seriously.

My next patient will be an English Patient who goes by the name britbox - AKA baron. I feel his big ego is wounded. I shall nurse him.

Cheap beer will be on the house for all except for Anikh. He'll be given honey/ginger/lemon tea. :)

anytime you like. but a better deal is to go to Europe and take in a major tournament.

better start saving.

queens would be a fascinating tournament to watch for somebody like you. for Wimbledon you have to plan 2 years n advance.

I would want to go watch monte carlo or the rome masters or both.

Sounds really good although I migh be a bit too dense in the head right now to fully grasp the meaning of it. ;D

anikh is ultra cool. make sure he is treated only the very best scotch. 18-21 years old scotch only.

baron's stock is being downgraded. lets feed him the cheapest beer on the market.

anyway folks I think I shall make my move to the casino now.

I personally would be much more interested in MC or Rome but mostly because of site seeing. If it's only tennis then Wimbledon will be the place for me to go - alone. My friends aren't into tennis at all. Right now I am keen on buying some Rogers Cup tickets but at the rate Andy is going at the moment, I don't feel very hopeful about the tournament. I'd like to see  other players too but he's my main priority.

Monfils red shirt is blinding...and a down a set too against Fognini.

Hi Guys, I am back. Got back actually yesterday late afternoon but I was feeling sick so wanted to rest up a lot. Called in sick today too since I don't feel I've recovered completely.

Good to be back and about to watch Andy's match.

Hope you guys are doing well. Anikh, sorry to hear about your flu. Hope you are feeling much better by now.

Hey Emma, welcome back. Did you have fun? Glad to hear you took a day off since you weren't feeling well. I used to build that extra day in at vacation time because I would be so wiped out when I got back.

monfils vs fog on deck. winner will play the winner of rafa vs dolgopolov battle.

I have to head out in a few minutes. I am meeting mom and dad at a local casino for drinks and dinner.

I will miss some of the action but I will have my iphone with me to track scores.

Have fun. I am not sure though why older people like your mum and dad spend so much time in a Casino. I simply hate being there. I went there for some fun but anything beyond that I find it very unhealthy. I noticed a lot of people completely unaware of their actions and spending their time such a bizarre way being completely hooked to some machines. I didn't see much hope in humanity after that.

What was ironic was that, I didn't even want to win and yet I kept on winning. I remain unbeaten in my Casino trips. muhahahaha. Oh well, not a very proud moment there I suppose.

It's probably the food. Many of the casinos have world renowned chefs and their food is really good.

I know a lot of people who go to the casino for food, not the gambling.

Ha ha ha. I just posted this. I know tons of people who go for the food, me included. It's actually better than a lot of restaurants.
