she was miss world emma.
that is a phenomenal song. absolutely sensational lyrics.
this one can almost be labeled philosophic.
Suhsmita was Miss Universe, herc darling. Aishwarya Rai got the World title.
Sushmita has a very beautiful smile. Love it.
Very meaningful lyrics indeed. I wish I could find the English version of it. It was originally taken from the famous Arabic song. I understand that very well too since I had to learn Arabic when I was a young girl. Mostly forgotten but I can still understand at least half it. lol
I did not know that. I think I am going to want to hear the Arabic version also now.
I never saw the movie but I have seen this video a few times as you can well imagine.
she is just sensational in every way. the lyrics are profoundly deep in a way but still quite understandable for the western audiences.
they probably would not know what it means to say "come drink from my eyes" but they can figure it out.
over here one would probably say "come and get lost in my eyes"

Yes, it's hard to get to know the true meaning of the lyrics in any other language. You have to either know Hindi or Urdu or Arabic. This is the reason why no biblical book be it the old testament or the Quran should be translated in any other language since the meaning of the biblical term can get totally lost in translation.
Having said that, I've seen really great translation of the great Chaiya Chaiya song that came very close to the original meaning so maybe I can for this one as well.
Do you not just love the different cultures in the world, herc? Be it Spanis or Italian or English or Arabic or Urdu or Hindi? They add so much variety and spice. I love it. I can't just follow one thing and just be that. I have to be everything I want to be and I want to experience everything I want to experience. There's no right or wrong. Just don't harm others. Fear not. You can be as free as you want!
Mehboob Mere
Mehboob Mere, Mehboob Mere
Teri Aankhon Se Mujhe Peene De
Kuch Dard Hai Mere Seene Mein
Mujhe Mast Mahaul Mein Jeene De!!
I am literally dancing in my gorgeous apartment. I kid you knot. I may also be half drunk. haha

I just got done with my weightlifting. now relaxing with a very tall glass of red wine.
I guess I will be having dinner rather late tonight.

the hottest trend and the newest major growth industry is medical marijuana.
I am displaying 2 breaking news tickers for this new industry at the top. these are fascinating developments that are taking place not only in America and Canads but pretty much all over the world.
Morning herc. I have no plans for this weekend. I will indeed let my hair down and relax.
I ended up watching a movie last night - 'Flight'. It had a lot of potential but it didn't live up to that. What was worth watching was the plane crash which was very neatly done and of course, Danzel's acting. Like Maryl Streep and Tom Hanks, his acting is effortless. No matter what role you give them they dissolve into those characters so easily. Very intriguing to watch. The cast was great in fact but they weren't given much to do there. I was very pleased to see John Goodman (the same due from the movie Fallen - Danzel and John) but he was in a very short role and Don Cheadle did rise and shine, but still not enough scope to do more. Also there was no character development and the story had a few flaws as well. You don't know throughout the movie whether you like the main character or not and that's really not a good thing for any movie. Nothing to do with the movie but just the way the character was developed. It does make you hate alcohol a great deal though. I can see why it's prohibited in Islam. There's virtually nothing good about alcohol really. It kills too many people and it destroys a lot of families. So whatever good it offers the downside of it is just way overwhelming. No one in their right mind can support this.
In the US alone, in 2012, 10,322 people died in drunk driving crashes - one every 51 minutes.
I'll be watching Iron Lady tonight.
