Hello, long time no see.

I have had some major health problems lately. Hopefully I will feel better again soon. I can stop taking the medication which is causing them at the end of next week. I hope that will be the end of the nightmare. I haven't felt that horrible in quite some time.

Also had to cancel some plans because my dad was diagnosed with a heart disease. He is going to see a specialist in a couple of weeks. Hopefully he can help him to get his problems under control.

Gonna take things easy until August. Then I will be gone from home for some time again unless something else comes up...  :'(

I'm sure more and more people will find their way here soon. It is nice to stop by after a long time and still see the usual suspects posting here. When I return to MTF after a long absence, I don't even recognize 10% of the user names.

Thanks a lot. After today's work-out I'm feeling quite fine, I hope things will stay like this until next Friday. Fortunately I know once I can stop taking the new medication, I will feel better again quickly. As for my dad, I hope the heart specialist will give him good news. Tomorrow I want to book a trip to Morocco for the 2 of us. A travel club that he is a member of is offering a great trip to all the major cities down there for 70% off the regular price. I just need to call as soon as their office opens tomorrow to see if they still have 2 spots available for us. Would be a shame to miss it. I hope that giving my dad something to look forward to will make him take care a little bit more of himself. He has been way too stubborn to go to the doctor for regular check-ups and even now we need to beg him all the time to go there whenever his condition gets worse.

I'm currently feeling quite inspired to start a blog of my own. Being sick has given me lots of time to browse the internet and dig deep into the world of blogging. Most likely it will be something about travels and stuff like that. I could add something about tennis as well but I don't have any self-taken pics to spice up my posts. Taking pics from the internet would always leave my worrying about possible legal consequences.  ::) Hahaha. People who are fortunate enough to go to tournaments also have a better insight than little old me who has to rely on online streams and a crappy TV coverage.

Anyone interested in the soccer world cup by the way?
I will be cheering for my all-time favorite Italy. My love for the Azzurri has been going all the way back to my childhood. My dad always made me support them during the international championships. After a while they have grown so much on me that I support them even more than my dad now. Although last night he was the one who stayed up until way past midnight to watch the match against England. I decided to call it a day early because I wanted to go to the gym first thing in the morning.

Tomorrow it's Bosnia vs. Argentina. My new love vs. my old on-and-off love. Hahaha. I was torn for a while, now I know that I will show up at work with my Bosnia T-shirt tomorrow.  So it is obviously who I will be supporting. Hahahah. The match starts at midnight CET but this time I surely won't go to bed early no matter how tired I will be at work the next morning.  :P

good to see you Nikki.

keep us posted on your Dad's health. may god bless him with a fast and speedy recovery.

you take good care of yourself too.

I am not going to get the chance to catch the world cup today. I have way too much to do.

right now I am going to go spend some time out on the ocean. and then later I am having dinner at one of the local casinos with mom and dad.

it is father's days here in America.

happy father's day to your Dad also.

I will post some very cool travel pictures that I found on the internet later tonight when I get back home.

you have probably been to some of these places.

Thank you.

Even if it was not father's day here, I have just made my dad a belated present. We are going to Morocco in November. It ended up being a bit more expensive than expected. I don't really mind now because it looks like it will be a really amazing experience. We are going in November for 7 days. Would be even better if they offered a trip to the Sahara as well but unfortunately they don't. The Atlas mountain range looks quite promising though. And all the historical cities.  :D

I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Bosnia lost this morning/ last night. Too bad as they were clearly the better team. They were dominating the first half and had the better chances during the entire match. Sadly that wasn't enough and the own goal was also  ::) although it was almost impossible to prevent.

Ah, Dubrovnik in Croatia. I want to go there for 3 days in August just to spend some time chilling on the beach. Then I don't know if i will head East or West to spend a couple of weeks more.

The only memories from Toronto that I have involve lots of snow and freezing cold temperatures. Hahaha.

Singapore is amazing. I was there during the rainy season so we had 3 days of non-stop rain and humidity. Don't even know if the bar already existed back then. We also went to a sky bar but it was at another hotel. I would love to go back there one day. I'm not a big holiday resort and theme park fan but I would love to go on Sentosa Island. Actually Singapore is called the "fine city". You can get fined for almost everything even for bringing a heavily stinking durian fruit on the metro with you. Hahahha.

good to see you around Nikki.

Toronto looks pretty cool. I would like make it there one year. I would like to take in that masters event and also visit some family members.

I have never been to Singapore. I hear ya. They are strict as hell there about every damn thing.
