andy is going to get on a bit of roll if he can snatch the Valencia title as well.

lets hope so. I want andy to snatch the wtf title in London this year.

Good times for us, eh? With Andy regaining his confidence and good form and with Nole being a dad. Which would make me a grandma, since he's my adopted son.

around 300 miles of driving today. I went to baton rouge to hang out with mom and dad. we did some running around the various stores and also the mall.

Am glad you had a great time with your parents, herc darling. I miss my parents a lot - would have spent a lot of time with them too had they been alive. I lost both of them quite early - especially my mom. Anyway, please do post pictures of that casino.

Not sure if Melzer's main issue is age though. I mean look at Federer, Ferrer and Lopez - all 33 and still playing well. Although Lopez has to go through much tougher draws than Federer and Ferrer due to lower ranking.

Anyway, Fognini is next for Andy. I must say, not a fan of Fog at all especially all those antics he had to throw against Andy at that notorious DC match this year and made it so difficult for Andy. If I am on the right chain of thought, then Andy would be and should be ready (and keen)for this 2nd encounter of the year. The main focus though is to get the title and not focus too much on the revenge factor. So Andy must be wise to keep things in perspective and not get caught in the moment. Fog will try to distract Andy as a tactic but Andy must keep things on course. Eye on the title.

Hey Yolita! Very good to see you here. Yes, big fan of Nole. Been following both Nole and Andy since 2007. Can't tell you how much I love them both. And it's so good to have someone with similar taste, I tell ya.

Yes, good times. Incredible time for Nole though. I really, really hope he makes WTF otherwise it would turn out to be a really dull tournament with Nadal being unsure, Andy still regaining form and Nole being away.

Glad to hear you've become a grandma in a roundabout way! Can't wait to see the baby's photos. Nole would make such a terrific father. And Andy too though that's probably not going to happen another few years or so but we can all wait, sure.

this casino sits right on the Mississippi river. I will take some pictures next time.

it is rather plain looking from the outside but inside is pretty cool.

it was a $370 million dollar investment there.

I found this picture on the internet. my camera could not take such a picture anyway.

Aww...such a sweet post, herc darling. My heart completely melted away. I was incredibly close to 3 people - all being in the same family - and they have all left me 'temporarily'. It's very hard to live a life after that but I have greater understanding of life and what's beyond it, so it becomes easier to live a life that's not going to be very long anyway.

I always feel my parents' and brother's presence around me especially when I am alone and I always get the feeling they love me just the way I am, so yes, I am sure they are very proud of me.

And I am sure you are also just as much caring especially the amount of driving you do just to be with your parents and give them some good time. It's always very lovely and refreshing to see. Keep it going, dear. You are just as wonderful.

The inside of that Casino looks pretty gorgeous, herc. And the 2nd picture with the moon looks like some resort somewhere. Very beautiful nonetheless.
