Clay Death- Her name is Maria Bonnevie
I am half norwegian-italian. Moved to London because of work. Live in Wimbledon because of the tennis. And because it is a nice place to grow up.
I have lived in Norway and Italia before. My parents lived in London before I was born. I am made in London
San Fransisco is really beautiful. Went to holidays in California last year, and loved it! Because of my background I am a bit gipsylike.. I don't mind making homes new places. Love to travel and like new places.
I had sort of a vision that came clear to me last year that California or NYC is the place for me to end up. And one day it will happen.
Emma- are you interested in quantum physics?
I'd love to live in California for the rest of my life. I love that area so much. I love the bay area. Well, maybe one day I will. Vancouver will do too since it's in the same coast more or less. Vancouver too is breathtaking. I love Canada. I was meant to be here.
Nikki will love your company, Embla. She loves to travel a great deal too. I do too but right now I am in the midst of a few things, so can't really afford the time. I'd like to go to Europe for a two week vacation. Would love to go to Milan and Rome and then go to Paris from there maybe in 2015. And later, to Australia for another 3 weeks maybe.
I'd love to go to the Amazon and try ayahuasca!
And yes, I love Quantum Physics. I don't study it traditionally since I don't have that kind of time, but I kind of do my own research, take notes etc. Try to listen to lectures by world class physicists and read their books materials etc. Why do you ask? Do you have similar interest or something?
and now for some tricks with a tennis racquet:
emma have you thought about firing up a shopping thread at "Emma's World"?
it will be like all purpose shopping thread about the coolest places to shop--both on the internet and also at shopping malls and stuff.
and people can also post about the best and the latest deals on various products like the cutting edge stuff in consumer electronics and the like.
looks like they are all watching a tennis match:
Emma-
Quantum physics was a part of a study I did.
Have been reading and listening to classes on youtube.
Rupert sheldrake is a scientist who gives classes in different subjects, not really quantum physics, but topic that can be related to it. Wrote a book about how thoughts can connect people. Metamorphosis. And more.
I can link some classes for you in the other thread of yours. It is so interesting the projects he is doing.
I just noticed something Embla. looks like I made a mistake somewhere.
look at the bottom right hand corner. there are some symbols there that should not be there.
I will see if I can fix it.

Yeah, I guess I can but I am in Canada though. are you talking about online shopping?

That is such a beautiful picture. I love tigers but don't like cats. How bizarre, no? Love dogs though.

I am not familiar with Rupert Sheldrake's but I'll look him up. Yes, please do post those links on the Quantum Physics thread. I will definitely check them out. I am so glad though that you have similar interest and in fact studied it.
Currently I am listening to some of the classes of Dr. Amit Goswami, Dr. Rober Piccioni and Dr. Fred Alan Wolf on youtube. Really enjoy their work.

both: on line and shopping all over the world at malls and shops.
Canadians have some of the most magnificent malls on the planet.
You know Embla, I just looked him up and was reading his wikipedia bio and came across this and I instantly liked this guy.
"Sheldrake also argues that science has become a series of dogmas rather than an open-minded approach to investigating phenomena"
I can not tell you how much I agree with him. I got into a series of quite intense arguments with Clydey on Murray's World, who's a hard materialist btw and subscribes to Newtonian law only, and this was one of the debates. He tries very hard to debunk everything though he very rarely provides any real data. I believe all the mainstream scientists are now grasping at straws ever since Quantum Physics and Mechanics came into the picture in 1925 and took the science world to storm. Even Einstein didn't like it but eventually he had to go along with it. He had no choice because of the dead accuracy of QP and QM.

Do they? I think it's China that has some of the biggest malls in the world.
I do work right next to Eaton Centre and I live right next to Square one, and these two are the biggest in Ontario along with one another which I forget now.
Let me think about it. It does require a lot of time and time is extremely precious to me because of my other interests.
It's a great idea though and maybe you can engage more people into it.
Btw herc, whatever you do, do not have that feature called Likes Given and Likes Received. It's too pretentious and far from the truth. People only give likes given to those that tend to float their boats and ignore good constructive posts because, let's face it, everything has to be positive about the player they like. I very rarely have given any likes; maybe a few because it's such a twitter like trend there but personally I don't like it at all. I don't care for it.
herc, the Multiple Purpose Centre (lol) ... Non Tennis section? Maybe we can call it Off Topic Centre or something?
