The BNP Paribas Open, the first of nine ATP World Tour Masters 1000 events, showcases the best men's and women's players at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. The Indian Wells Tennis Garden unveiled an 8,000-seater Stadium 2 in 2014, just a year after breaking ground. The tournament set an attendance record for a ninth straight year in 2015, with 456,672 fans entering the gates of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden for the 40th edition of the BNP Paribas Open.
