It's just past midnight here in Finland. I'm going to bed now to get a few hours of sleep before Stan-Berdy. I think I'm going to miss the 1st set, a five-setter would be too much in early morning.

did nokia really get gobbled up today by a large company? I will have to check the news.
nokia was once the largest sell phone company in the world.

I am still trying to figure out how to add administrators.

I knew it yesterday and now I forgot already.

Yes, Microsoft buys the phone business, Nokia continues to manufacture mobile networks. The phone business wasn't profitable recently, so maybe not that bad to sell it but sad to lose one of the most famous Finnish consumer brands. And who knows if MS is really gonna keep the jobs in Finland.

And the Nokia CEO, Stephen Elop was a former Microsoft guy. He decided Nokia switches to Windows and abandons the new MeeGo operating system. And now that Nokia sells the phones, Elop goes back to MS and may become a future CEO. Interesting... 

But now I gotta go to bed.
