Smelling the freshly rained upon earth

Incantations where were blessing
All living beings
Shedding all the past for a re birth

At igniting calmness + well being
All powerful sixth sense interacting
For our inherent well being

Feels more like London
Strange year for Toronto
Seasons may be called by certain names

Creates a taciturn of misery
Pushing down emotions
That fail to be expressed
Will find its way erupting
Regarding a volcanic spewing
Where there is no holding back
It's that huge frog in your throat
That constricts your swallowing
Yet is an obstruction
Many times of justice
What is right or wrong
Who is the condemned or condemnee
Confusion adds to this constricted views
Pain battles at every level
At times not to hurt the ones we love
Words are held back
Only to discover your own body attacks

Human fallacy is believing in another's promise
Words put together with other words
To illicit not only a sentence that leads to a paragraph
But a declaration
We began this game of assurance
As a child
Kids running around the streets
Choosing to become blood siblings
By searing open our fingers
To intertwine with another friend
A promise at the age of nine
Looking back I did keep that promise
With one friend of mine
She passed at the ripe old age of eleven
It was one of my most scared promises
One that meant the most
One that was upheld by us both

Wandering through the city streets at night
Things are far more evident in the summer time
Exposing blatantly where words are superfluous
Actions indicated by those who have chosen the vagrant life
Did they choose
Nature or nurture jumps in with both feet
Summer can be an unusual treat in comparison to winter
Though this years complexity compounded by flooding
Rain has incessantly poured on a daily basis
It's become a crisis on the island where they are trudging through feet of water at the base of their homes
Which brings me back to the vagabond
This summer is one where wandering
Is not a consistent joyful one
Weather an unknown commodity

Pale + trembling
Standing in the wide eyes glare
Of the Angel of Death
Such an eerie stare
Realizing during this ominous occasion
Fear enveloped me from head to toe
Since I'm facing fear in its steely lifeless eyes
Distressing overwhelming feeling
Consternation realizing divination
Was always true
I was floundering in a sea of logical
Drowned In fact
Struggling to break the surface
To breathe again

Numbness has filled every fiber of my being
Catatonic seems to be the reality of late
She came to me in a dream last night
Bubbly + well spirited
Full of laughter and joy
Through the various realms
It was levity that she did uniquely propagate
Grateful for all of her connections
Though it takes time for me to decipher
Her intentions
Really I'm so grateful
