Once upon a time. there was an ancient King who had a long, grey beard
& moustache. This King lived in a palace constructed of pure crystal
that sparkled & flashed in the sunlight like a huge block of pure ice.
The palace was located in a gigantic garden & in this garden there
grew oranges & pears of all varieties & wild cherry trees & tulips,
roses & lilies-of-the-valley blossomed there & members of the tit &
parrot family sang with the robins, finches, red-caps & siskins. Other
than peacocks, these were the only birds that resided in his kingdom.
Pegasus lived there with unicorns & all other members of the equine
family. In the palace gardens were lots of large fountains which
sprayed right up to the top of the highest poplar trees imaginable.
Only 1 of these fountains was a water fountain. There was a tea & vodka
fountain for the adults & an orange & apple juice fountain & chocolate
& milk fountain for everyone.
The old King only had 1 son who was heir to the Kingdom, a little boy
aged 7. He was a good boy who was never capricious & he went to bed &
got up early. The only bad habit he had was that he smoked. When he
was 20 he got T.B. caused by smoking & died. The aged man, decrepit &
ill was left without anyone to rule the Kingdom or to protect the
palace. Foes came & killed the old man & destroyed the palace & now
there is nothing left whatsoever.
I dream of a time in the Highlands of Scotland where wild Highland ponies did roam.
I dream of a time when Dunoon was the place my ancestors called home.
I dream of a land where everyone gets on, shares things equally & there are no wars, arguments or fights.
I dream of a land where everyone not only has rights but don't have to assert their rights.

that is awesome lady Ann.
Thank you very much Clay & thank you for the lovely picture.
Lady EquineAnn,
Your 'I Dream' poem is beautiful. It would be very nice if we lived in a world where our rights would never need to be asserted, you and I both feel that way.
Congrats on your new responsibility at Camelot! Looking after the Equines must feel like a dream 😊
Thank you very much Jenny. It would be nice. It does indeed. I'll have to take a back seat in 8 days time for 5 days as I'm going on holiday so you'll be able to have some peace & quiet. Lol. I want to do a horse songs piece for it but can only do one with song-words I know as I only know how to share music to facebook & twitter. I also wanted to do 1 on horse clips from films such as Seabiscuit, Palomino & the horse whisperer. I've asked Clay but he's busy. I don't like to disturb him too much as he's always very busy although friendly.
Ann, if the clips you are wanting to share are on youtube, or can be found online, just send me a DM on twitter and I can look them up and add them to the thread for you.
Are you going anywhere exciting for your holiday?
O.k. Thank you very much Jenny. I'm going to Reighton Sands which is near Filey on the Yorkshire coast. I live between Wakefield & Pontefract. You'll have heard of Yorkshire because of the Yorkshire pudding & because you know your history & the wars of the roses took place between the Yorkshire & the Lancashire Kings. You'll have definitely heard of Wakefield because of the Battle of Wakefield which actually took place at Sandal near Wakefield or the book, the Bishop of Wakefield & you'll have heard of Pontefract because of Pontefract cakes & the fact it's the liquorice capital of the world.
I'd like to be in a place where the land meets the sea.
I'd like to be in a world where all the animals are free.
In a world of joy, peace & love's where I want to be.
A world where there's no wars, fights & rows is for me.
Singing
I sing when I'm glad.
I sing when I'm sad.
I sing when I'm mad.
I don't sound bad.
I sing all the time.
I sing songs that rhyme.
It's a good job it isn't a crime.
To the high notes I can climb.
lady Ann I just noticed that you are getting ready to achieve a cool milestone at Camelot. you are about to hit 500 posts.
well done.
Really? Thank you very much.
I love to be in all the Glens.
I love to look at all the Bens.
Anyone who has been to Scotland probably this feeling kens.
I sing when I'm happy.
I sing when I'm sad.
I sing when I'm calm.
I sing when I'm mad.
I sing all the time.
I've got a nice voice
I sing songs that rhyme.
People like hearing me.
