I love your reply but that's not true in my case. I'd love to go to the Camargue, Connemara, Dartmoor, Eriskay, Exmoor, The New Forest & Shetland & move back to Dunoon where most of my ancestors came from & have a horse or 2 & stables with maybe a horse-drawn carriage to take me about.
Bless you all from my heart I hope to touch your heart...I am humbled to be welcomed with so much charm I have not socialised other than twitter most recently I was @ifarmlight last year...I took several months off.... I am honoured for the beautiful welcome...tipping the hat with an offer of a poem...kindly ifarm
THE OMEN of DEAD WALKING MEN....
Wonderlust Revisited... full version... kinda long...tipping the hat...kindly ifarm
Wonderlust
My once loved heart now lay just a token
When once a guiding light to your thought
My heart lays in too many broken pieces
A broken token on a oneway street of pain
He will never love you the way I loved you
You played on hard the strings of my heart
The tune played not a pretty melody of love
You tempered the drum to suit the purpose
And took the dance of love out of my heart
When you look back I hope you remember
The moment and day I captivated your heart
I lay this love down I'm walking out the door
He will never love you the way I loved you
And I will never return to streets of your pain
I find of all things this love now carries a burden
When wonderlust once captured lovers in love
The grandeur completed the wholeness of love
Making love idyllically on spun shores golden sands
Our nakedness a delight kissing sky buck-bare
The stars absorbed our open love once shared
That held the most beautiful of sighs
We ran buck-naked wild consuming the ferocity
Licking oxygen nothing remained in the capture
And just like a wildcat fire we took it all
The wanderlust so succinct burned deeply on
Flailing we writhed in wetness our bodies in heat
Burning passion we embraced the saturations
Once the burning passions engaged
Two hearts held the power graved
And we held that power justly
Our bodies raised and dropped rapidly
As we respond we gasp at oxygen
Like a fire burning its path
Under the umbrella of the naked sky
We embrace we burned in such wonderlust
To hold the finest hours deeply engaged soaked
The energy of spent love enraged on
If only we could have held what we had
But you chose to walk away
From a love higher just so grand
Higher than the tallest mountains
Deeper than the deepest seas
Greater then the masses of the universe
We were designed to please
Two hearts embraced so succinctly
Yet faltered the day you walked away
Today I feel that fear all over again
The desertion bled me deeply
The wanderlust so succinct burned deeply on
Flailing we writhed in wetness our bodies in heat
Burning passion we embraced the saturations
Once the burning passions engaged
Two hearts held the power graved
And we held that power justly
Our bodies raised and dropped rapidly
As we respond we gasp at oxygen
Like a fire burning its path
Under the umbrella of the naked sky
We embrace we burned in such wonderlust
To hold the finest hours deeply engaged soaked
The energy of spent love enraged on
If only we could have held what we had
But you chose to walk away
From a love higher just so grand
Higher than the tallest mountains
Deeper than the deepest seas
Greater then the masses of the universe
We were designed to please
Two hearts embraced so succinctly
Yet faltered the day you walked away
Today I feel that fear all over again
The desertion bled me deeply
To sever eternity an even match of love
But you locked away your heart
And forbade our love
When I look back at the love I have tasted
My love for you the deepest ever created
I hold the impression of your heart
In my bluest memories and thought
With a need to feel this love one more time
I long to dance that dance again
The wonderlust so magnificent
The fullest passions craved
With a need to understand
Why you never felt as I
The day you walked away
I have the need to know
If just me blinded from this love
So I can close this chapter
With or without you
For my heart needs to be set free
But somehow drawn to walk
The street of pain again
Release me from this gilded gage
Wonderlust owned by you and me
