Chill wind whips
cold song singing
misted breath
icy spray
the glass of my composure
shatters
as the Ice Queen comes

As icy stilettos

A frozen wasteland to some

They are all so beautifully written Lady Winters Tale. I hope someday to embrace it the way you have. Mine are feelings that spill to photos that are engulfed by what I see from my heart,mind & soul. Thank you for sharing my dear.

This was a chain following my visit to the ghost town of Graftin - I saw a house and the first series of lines immediately came to mine - this may grow as more lines come to me.
Folks round here called her Miss Eliza
She was married five times
Buried four husbands
They never found the fifth
Rumours flowed
Filling the reservoirs of gossip
How could someone so young
So reserved
Have caught the eye of so many
Ethereal as the moon
Men gravitated towards her
She shone so bright
None saw the shadows
The ravens which gathered
