I wish you a Merry Xmas & a Happy New Year.
Don't eat too much chocolate, Don't drink too much beer.
You might be teetotal & not drink alcohol at all.
Some people believe 3 wise men visited Jesus with gifts & on their knees did fall.
The gifts they brought were Frankincense, Myrrh & gold.
We still have gifts at Xmas now as in days of old.
We also Carol sing.
We sing of heaven's King.
The church bells ring.
We remember the message the angel Gabriel did bring.
We remember the Magi following that star.
We remember the story of people for the census walking or riding donkeys so far.
We know this story whatever we believe & whoever we are.
We remember being told about St. Nicholas who is also known as Father Xmas or Santa Claus.
Some people believe (I don't) he brings good girls & boys Xmas presents & mine & yours.
There are times when I wish I could live my life like the character in a book.
There are times when we have both good & bad luck.
Sometimes reading can be a great escape.
Sometimes we all make big mistakes.
I wish you a Merry Xmas & a Happy New Year.
Don't eat too much chocolate, Don't drink too much beer.
You might be teetotal & not drink alcohol at all.

I noticed. Thank you very much.
How can extremely grandiloquent, articulate & loquacious people be so misunderstood?
Why do things always go wrong even when they're good?
Why can highly intelligent people sometimes find it hard to say the simplest things?
Do other people know the embarrassment this brings?
How come some people who are nervous say more rather than less?
Why can some feelings be very hard to express?
Why are people so quick to judge people whose circumstances they don't know?
Why are we sometimes our worst foe?
Or rather sometimes our worst enemy is inside our own head.
Why can it be so hard to put bad memories & ideas to bed?
How come sometimes we think less of ourselves than other people do?hey
How come sometimes it takes other people to bring out the real you?
How come some people come out as arrogant when they're not?
They're really quite unsure of themselves & can come across as unconfident the next shot.
They've got a conscience & know the difference between right & wrong.
They try their best to always do the right thing & stay strong.
How come, no matter how people try to do the right thing they can't win?
No matter how hard they try they always sin.
Why is it so hard to forget things?
Do other people realise the sorrow this brings?
Good memories though they can be a blessing can also be a curse.
Maybe you remember all the useful, nice & important things but you always remember those worse.
Sometimes understanding what's going on is hard & "ignorance is bliss".
Sometimes you realise some people would love your abilities & feel ungrateful for thinking like this.
Sometimes we need to forgive & love ourselves as well as others.
Sometimes we don't feel like lifting our heads from under the covers.
How come some people can't do average, they go from being very bright to being very dumb?
How come for some people, practicality just doesn't come?
I'm very sorry for how the above poem may have come across. I wrote it spontaneously because that's how I felt at the time & how I feel sometimes. I'm always either over-estimated or under-estimated.
Kindness & manners pay.
Though you could be forgiven for thinking differently in the world as it is today.
Etiquette seems to be forgotten about.
Some people always have to name-call & scream & shout.
In order to appreciate happiness you must know what it feels like to be sad.
In order to appreciate calm you must sometimes be mad.
In order to know the difference between right & wrong you must sometimes be bad.
Though there are some things we regret there are some things for which we must be glad.
