School of fish catch the
Light of the moon
Swimming by as their fins are glowing
Plummeted in the oceans blue
The quiet seems to silent
My mind in a meditative stance
Every inch of my skin
Feels a tingle
With the ability to connect
To the calming of the oceans inhabitants
Smiling as they swim around and mingle

As though my legs are drowned

The yearning of those days elated

On this planet we know as Earth

Did fear or worry

It’s certainly a year of major transformative growth
Chaos is all around us
Explosions leads
to destruction leads to the need
To clear the debris
Start anew
Isn’t that the definition of death
I’ve died so many times this year
Died in the aching pain
Of knowing this life time
I won’t see your again
I’ve cried incessantly
Incomprehensibly
Shocked at the anguished sobs
Tearing at my throat
Being harder on myself
Had always been the norm
Breaking the mold
Has taken hard work
Learning to be gentler
Yet the pain of loss

Wondering what it’s like on the other side
How is it that once we awake
The dreams we sought
Are quickly forgot
Being a spirit
Are we in for a greater ride

Whilst in my questioning debate
A beautiful monarch butterfly
Flew across the street
At first I thought it was a tiny bird
But as it came closer
Definitely a Monarch butterfly
Most recently I read in a book
To be alert to the signs
It’s October and the weather has been
Blissful
When I saw the butterfly
I had to take a second look
A smile crossed my face as it flew by me
But a foot away
It flew up close and personal
As if to say
Here is the sign
That you’ve been asking all day
Manifestation in mere hours
Nature’s beauty and design
Arrived just after
