Crossroads of life
Questioning all of my associations
Releasing situations that cause me strife
Laughter encourages a winning combination
Letting all that doesn’t serve me
To slip away
Holding on tightly has left me fighting
Riding the curves of the road
With many a sway
Similarly the unknown can be frightening
Erupting from the claustrophobic night
Shaken out of my reverie
Crackling of the thunder clapping
Shards of lightening
Stark against the dark
Shaking up convexed affiliation
Immense relief overtakes my body and soul
Releasing all afflictions
Of over thinking vexing chills that linger still
Decisions have already changed my course
Each step has led me to where I am
At this juncture
Was it written in a script I accepted
Before my appearance on this planet ?
Possibly
Karmic debts are paid
Who I was a decade, a year, a day ago
Is slotted for more of an evolution
One I’m well aware
Is taking me on that lifelong date
And constant dare
~ Divine

Steering through like a stale piercing
Pliable skin threatening to
Separate flawless masterpiece
Gushing blood erupting once the stake
Is forcefully removed
The wound seeping
Throbbing from the blunt force trauma
Yes trauma
It may not be as vivid
Or evident on the exterior
But when trust has been broken
Feels as though my severed chest cavity
Split in two
My heart contracted the stake
Forcefully pulled out of the comfort of
It’s rib cage
In distress
Extreme pain
Same Same
~Divine
Loving you is a revelation of many
Stars shine brighter in the city skies
Nectars fruits are sweeter
Fragrances an onslaught to the senses
That is nothing in comparison
To my souls connection to yours
When our eyes stare knowingly
Deeply entwined
Reunion ultimately defined
Every touch
Every kiss
Every hug
Every spoken word
Speaking my name

Avoidance is deception
Wallowing in a sea of despair
Sifting through mountains
Of paperwork
Observing completely
With special care
Obscured truth
Interwoven weaved perception
Memory is vague
An injection of cognitive apprehension
Vulnerary salve to soothe
The long suffering wounds
Tearing up the past
Amassing logs
Infusing a flame and watch burn

Fresh breeze whipping through
Your hair
Every mile treat it like
A block in kind
Adrenaline pushing through the limits
Grunting through to the next mile
Like it’s a kitty corner
Getting through the finish line
With a smile
The body is the most miraculous
Thing ever created by God
Regenerates and heals
So long as the thought process
Is positive
And keep the well oiled machine
Active

Held tightly into my heart forever
It shattered to pieces many years ago
Aggrandizement over time
Of non involvement
In comparison
Not much to show
Sitting on the fence
Waffling on whether I care
Or don’t care
I’m a complex conundrum
Of needing to please
Multi faceted versions of me
Where the limited box is suffocating
Definitive in my choice of non commitment
Although I don’t need the ring
Being loyal is important to me
Here’s the funny thing
This commitment phobic
Will stay loyal until
There is no reason to be
I’m my own set of crazy
I am always Me
Whether you like me or not
But hey, you’ll end up loving me

Teetering on the edge
Of the cliff ledge
My emotions mirroring
The ever changing seas
The blue skies turned grey
Ominously reminding that
Everything can turn on a dime
Hanging hopes on a dream
Is volatile if actions don’t
Follow the same theme
Shivering not from the cool breeze
The thoughts lingering of images
Playing in my head like a movie
Set in quick time
Times two
Goose bumps evident scores
Across my latent skin
Needing the calmness to sooth my mind
Have my body follow
Unknowingly understanding
Many peoples words
Will always remain hollow
Echoing tones playing havoc in my ears
For as they escaped their lips
My mind quickly ascertained
As their mouth continued
To let lies slip
Quicker than the eye can see
Pay attention to the flickering
Rhythmically to the beat of
One, two, three
Paced slowly
Speeds up quickly
Then almost to a halt
Skeletons occasionally creep open the closet
Stuffed to the maximum
The skeletons want to be found
Clattering in the closet
When the truth revealed
Conclusively shattered
~Divine
