I've never taken stock
in these symbols and signs.
But having met you
proved I'd been blind.
Poets write of hearts
eternal devotion.
Flames of desire
and new found emotion.
Love ever lasting
a lifetime of bliss.
Heaven here on Earth
the passion of a kiss.
I've never found valid
these words foolishly penned.
Then you graced my presence
and proved me wrong again.
Singers sing of heartache
and the one that got away.
Internal emptiness
pain that still remains.
Missed opportunities
the hollowness of night.
Paths that never cross
timing that wasn't right.
I never dreamed those songs
could ever ring so true.
Until I thought of life
without ever knowing you.
Sitting by the open window
Watching as the rain hits the pane
Each rain drop unique in its individualism
The ominous clouds are dark and grey
Thunder is cracking lightening is striking in its paroxysm
Many feel despair and gloom on cloudy days
My heart is elated feeling the deep cleanse of the rain as it washes away
This heartache and pain that has subdued my brain
But today is just another day
It's about living life today
Erasing and burning the pain of the past
Exalting in my glorious finds that are built to last
Yes, I love watching the rain
Make the pitter patter noise against the window pane
Cleansing away every remnant of my emotional pain
As I know I will be
Sitting by the open window
Watching the rain

Just before your body makes contact with the glistening water
Just before plunging into the crisp coolness
Exhilarating feel flying through the air
Adrenaline surging through every sinew and muscle
The tightening of every muscle in the body
Expansion of the chest, sucking in your breathe, closing your eyes
Stimulating all of the senses
Quickening the beat of the heart as the shock of the water surrounds the body
Fully immersed
Cutting through feeling the Rush
Feeling the impact
My little furry family member
Holding you tight in my embrace
Why is it closing my eyes my love for you is so tender
I feel your love for me, I feel your heart race
I will always love you
I will always care for you
I will always watch for you
I will always be there for you
Yes every time I hold you tight

Don't you just love nature
Watch the fluttering of the leaves falling towards you as though from the sky
I love watching Nature change its emotions
Bright skies shining brightly from the sun making me squint from the strength of the Rays
Squinting when I'm caught in the rain watching the dark clouds hovering warning of more torrential rain
I love the changing of the seasons
Hibernation, rebirth, height of sun changing of the leaves
Being alive and noticing all of the wondrous changes, welcoming them
Realizing that we cannot ever control anything
Everything is in the change function

In the middle of my chest
It's beating hard
Come feel it
Pounding so hard I swear you can hear it across the room
My entire body can feel the heat of the blood coursing through my veins
Powerful beat of my heart like a drum
The rhythm is distinctly mine
It's been a long time
For me it feels like ions
That feeling of excitement
Where I feel so much I want to throw up
Butterflies in my stomach 'they say'
But it's the rhythmic sound of my heart that plays
Shaking me to the core
Complex combination of emotions
As I stand here naked in front of you
