Adorations and devotions
Professed fully baked
Sweet nectar sipped
Delicious is the taste between

Observant beyond my exterior
Souls entwined by a serendipitous knowing

Symbiotic synergy escalating
The nervous excitement
That tingles every senses of our bodies
If anyone asks you to define love

No real definition

Can be manipulated
It’s neither black or white
Many confused shades of grey
Investing much to much time
Pleasing others
Consuming confusion sets in
When acting aloof
Definition of not celebrating life
Is the biggest crime
Ultimately knowing we are souls
Inhabiting vessels temporarily
Clamouring for what to say
When stuck in the mud
Stubbornness is just another
Branch of resistance
Hopefully when realizing

For what it can be

It’s hard to stop a rolling wheel
Going down hill
It picks up speed
Goes faster
With no regard to stop
Same thing happens when an arguement ensues
Words followed by more words
When emotions are involved
The need to hurt the other
They way they hurt you
Escalates
Disturbing hiccups of convoluted sentences
Distorted and in the fit of anger
Words keep rolling
Picking up speed
Seeing red doesn’t alert the danger
Of hurting one another
It just keeps escalating the barbs
Once all the screaming is concluded
All the words
Settle in
Trying to crawl out of egos play
To forgive
Not just the other
But yourself
Major task at hand

Superfluous words
Shared we’re all phony
Affections related to one goal

Constant barrage woven to remind

Regular infatuation
Without a soul connection
Disturbing the balance
Halting the love dance
Emotions float to the top
Like a cork
Floundering surreptitiously
Out of control
Aimlessly this way
And that
Sub consciously
Knowing it’s in the letting go
Consciously holding on
While the blood drips
From the fingertips
Just because a story is told
Don’t believe the rendition
It may change
