Crisp coldness of the night
When snuggling is an afterthought
A loud bang has my attention
Investigating the surroundings
Noise still clamours
Fear it’s caused is hard to mention
The sound isn’t wrong or right
It’s just repeated itself
More than twice tonight
Resurrecting the need to sleep with a light on
False sense of security
If it’s ghosts
Be gone

Fresh snow is clinging to the the tendrils of each branch of the trees
This early morning stroll awakened with a jolt quickly
Spritely shaking off sleepy veil of dreams
Sinking into mountains of snow
Launching into play whilst throwing snowballs
Screeching top of our lungs

Mystic’s eye often foretells
Sights of the future however strange
Unbeknownst if it’s heaven or hell
Surreal images foregoing reality
Closets filled with skeletons ominous secrets
They are long gone and no tongues to share or tell
Look closely at what’s about you
Sixth sense speaks in foreign languages
In silence, interpret it well

Chained to ideas from the past
Waited far too long
Not entirely sure all of this will last
The heart wants what the heart wants
Break the chains
Lose the connection
Ghosts of yesterday slips it’s haunts
Grey doesn’t matter
It’s left or right
It’s black or white
It’s here and now
Centre stage come take a bow

Duplicitous actions and reactions
Political reasons amassed primarily from greed
Eastern, Western, Northern, Southern
Matters not what they believe
The hateful seed is planted
Innocence is at the base of this malicious hate
We’re miles apart from negotiations
People of the world who have been forgotten
Find peace and keep safe for you and your relations

Craving for the rebirth of nature to bring us to our senses
