Dithyrambic passions of the aphotic transcends
Deep dive into the recesses of the mind
That feels so right
While others judge it’s wrong
Tenebrous in feelings
Obscure in dealings
Just want to crawl back into bed

Strife edging the good out everyone surrounding you
Yelling at the top of your lungs looking for a fight
Triggers surmount all the good that once embodied too
Anger erupting to fisticuffs and murder
Seeing red increased the dead that felt right
Infused with blinding hate brewing for far too long
Wanting to diffuse the situation
Not having a clue
On how to make things better
All that is evident is dread
Tired of seeing your cold dark eyes
Where once held kindness

Watching as the others laughed during the beating
Evil etched across their faces
Sneers are far from kind

What we resist persists
Trying to make heads or tails
Illicit comprehension
Unknown variables for what is shared is still hidden
Gaslighting has been a thing way too long
Hoping for things to go right
When all points in the direction
Where all may be wrong

The gas lighting was too much for her to bare
He screamed and yelled then grabbed her hair
In moments he’d stop
And smile as though nothing mattered
Meanwhile she’s reeling, her heart shattered
The pendulum swung
Her emotions clung
To each word uttered
When she responded she stuttered
He retorted with a slap and a kick
This is just another fight he chose to pick

Pop goes the balloon
Shaking us out of our reverie
Shattering the illusion of happiness
The evil is coming to the surface
Right in front of our eyes
Some aren’t abating an eye, it’s eerie
So much blue noise shaking the foundations
Elitists continue their blatant facade
Words coming out of their mouths are compounded by several lies
Smiling like buffoons
Everywhere there is a camera, a smile
Words they speak constant lies
I’m still surprised by the amount of sheep
Acting like wolves with no back bone
Telling you climate change and stay home
While they continue their vast vacations.
