Holiday season is about sharing
Special moments with those you love
Even if in extreme ends of the world
A kind gesture
Can fill a void you know not of
Contact those miles apart
Then put away devices
Interact from the heart
Sharing stories & a glass of wine
Sing a few Christmas carols
Feel the chills up your spine
Anger may seep in
Close ones know how to push buttons
A few drinks later
Pass around & smoke the joint
Add smooth sounding music
Bring laughter on point
It's all comes down to the truth of the matter
Catching up on events & all kinds of chatter
Unwrapped gifts
Pets under the Christmas tree
Looking forward to Boxing Day
Possible shopping spree
All kidding aside
Putting away all of our pride
Time for forgiveness
And spreading kindness

A year where the heavens are filled with creative souls singing or performing to their souls content

Strange...turning on the news I'm expecting another to pass.

They are returning home.
We forget that we are souls inhabiting our temporary vessels

Souls recognize souls and can see kindness ...egos edge God Out and we distance ourselves from each other.

Rest In Peace
All who have passed
Infamous or Famous
A moment of peace and quiet to honour them

Slithering slimey is the forked tongue
Elusive doesn't quantify
Mixed up crazed relationship
Venomous falsification
Interwoven inaccuracy of the stories
Prevarication
Dripping with maniacal disdain
It's like an evil magic show
Where the encore goes awry
Heads are sliced off the necks
Go flying by
Slippery slope of beguilement
Those spewing the loudest
Pointing continual fingers of judgement
Boondoggling the guileless
In a false sense of friends security
Whilst hiding behind
A grotesque mask of deceiving concern
Interwoven theatrical acts can discern
Innocents years of obscurity
Fake feeling of sincerity
Needing their adoration
Misguided cliche of thought devoid clique
Waiting for the perfect time to strike
With the snake like
Hatred seething beneath the surface
Masked by the smile
Painted on the face
Illusion of kindness
Just leading to inevitable blindness

Heart breaks at the sound of your crying
Shrieks have been intense
Stuck in the past has been trying
Dementia of any kind
Alzheimer's makes no sense
Diminishing real time moments
Replaced by days gone by
Vacant eyes wondering why
Nothing is as in the mind
Incomprehensible what goes on
In ones grey matter
Watching a loved one deteriorate
Falling pieces shatter
Wailing at the top of their lungs
Early morning to really late
You're alive and breathing
But I've lost you a long time ago
Look forward to seeing
Believing in my heart of hearts
Still a few moments to go
Of my mother I loved from the start
The one who is kind and smiles
Telling me I love you
Miss her so badly
Cause this one treats me like an enemy
Missing you so sadly
