CAMELOT FANTASIES

Hot humid summer night
Just stepped out of the shower
Relieved by the coolness
Of the water
Soothing my fevered skin
Feeling refreshed
Droplets cooling streams
Released from my hair
Making a pathway down my limbs
Whirling fan accentuating
Welcoming a light chill
As the fresh air
Caresses it dry
Not complaining of the summer heat
Humidity is hard to bare
Running cold water on pressure points
Of my feet
Brings down the temperature
Relieves tension of my joints
Preferring the ceiling fan
To the air conditioner
Gathered my hair
Into a quick bun
Enjoying few moments of soothing reprieve
Of this tenuous heat
