Staring at the sky
Wishing I didn't see
The blood red ring
Around the full moon
Everyone has their superstitions
I simply listen

At least that's the movies

Yes my perceptions
When heard
Moments in time
Heart is clutched with dread
Ring & dreams coincide
Praying for all to be safe
No need to run and hide
Destiny will claim
Red ring or nightmare
From my bed
For when it concludes
Another commences
Fear of movement
Of letting go

Ominous as the moon appears
It's the visions playing in my head
Those of seers
CGI can't come near
To see the living dead
