Emotions are making it hard to breathe
Chest is heaving
Tears are streaming
Weaving their path down
My face
Feeling so numb
Tear drop on my hand
Is out of place
Wretched stance
When the heart stopped
That special dance
The pain has eluded
And dropped into
A catatonic trance
Awkward is the way
One can't advance
Those damn emotions
