The old fashioned ways of the world
Seems so long ago
When people wrote each other
On scented paper
Where penmanship belied
Personality traits
Dotting of the i's
Crossing of the t's
Slight slanting of the words
I enjoy writing cards and letters
Pouring heartfelt thoughts
Expressions elaborated to create
An understanding to a story shared
