Spirits that deny their right
To take their flight
Through the tunnel
Where they are greeted by the light
Stay behind within their own
Self inflicted barriers
We on this side refer to them as ghosts
They stood by their convictions
For their own reasons
And the reasons are many
Honour to protect their loved ones
Where time has passed
Continuing to stay behind
After a while
Still holding on to the past
Taking a stand
