This was a slight shocker... so this must be how it works, if you are a mid level player, she has issues, if you are a super low ranked player, she loses, but if you're really good and NOT named Serena, she probably will win!

she just needs to take care of her next opponent and it is probably a done deal. Maria has to serve big and play smart, tactical tennis.

patience is needed against serena. force serena to play more high risk tennis.

win the long rally maria and you will win the match. that is the way to destroy somebody both physically and mentally in tennis.

you win the majority of the long rallies and you shatter their spirit.
