Should be an interesting season!!!

The woman's final is in English and the men's in Russian. I will post the men's in English as soon as possible. In the meantime I've also posted a few "back matches".

Was so happy for Flavia. Love Aggie, but she should have many years to win big titles. It was fabulous seeing Flavia win the biggest title of her career. She seems like such a sweet young lady.

it would appear that falavia has some Mallorca connections:

if I am not mistaken, she dated carlos moya long ago.

carlos moya and rafa are good friends and both from Mallorca.  so by extension, flavia might be good friends with rafa as well.

Yes, she and Carlos dated for awhile. She's said in the past that Rafa was like a little brother to her. Wasn't that nice that Fognini stayed in IW for her as a good luck charm? His niceness meter just went up with me.

I have not followed her much. I always figured/guessed she was good on clay.

I've never paid too much attention to what surface she was playing on, but always thought she was a feisty competitor, so I've always like Flavia.

It's so nice to see her having this success so late in her career.

I don't know if this posted, so I'll try it again.

Moya and Pennetta dated for a good while so she's pretty close to Rafa as well. She's said in the past that he's like a little brother to her and they have remained friends even though she and Carlos are over.
