That blister was really bumming me out, but I did see on ESPN that he was practicing without it. That's good, because he's going to need to be able to hold his racket better than he was able to in the last few rounds.
At first, I was thinking that Rafa was playing horrible, but now I don't think it was as bad as I previously thought.
Yesterday I was watching it without volume while I was on the phone. Today, I watched it again and noticed that at the business end of the games and sets Rafa was still able to lift his level.
When you consider how important this match is to his legacy I think we'll see a different Nadal.
At least, I hope so.
