he is still the man to beat at RG. he is taking it if he can get into the final and I believe he will do it. he will be in the final there.


in the mean time he did not really need to give all these other cats all these easy wins over him. he is too good for them.


the problem is that the sport is very demanding now. they are all gunning for you. top players are vulnerable in the best of 3 sets formats if they drop their focus.

I am beginning to come around your thinking on the matter: he lost some motivation and is finding it hard to get back in the groove.

back injury made it worse.  now the back is better but it has to be a small variable still. it has to be in the back of his mind.


he just cant afford another back issue this close to RG. also the next back issue could end the career.

he has got to get stronger and he has to stay on clay for a while.

My son and I went to see the new Spiderman movie tonight. He's a huge Spiderman fan. I asked him if he wanted to take a friend with him, but he opted to go with me. Aw, heart swell...

Until the night of the debut, then he wanted to bring his friend along, at the last minute. But, I gave him an option, because I wasn't going to pay for three fares.  1. He and his friend could go and I would take them and pick them up, or 2. They could go to the matinee which would be lighter on my pocket.

He opted to ditch his friend and go to premiere night. So, he and I went.

The movie was really good. During the movie I was struck by Andrew Garfield's resemblance to Andy Murray. Anyway, he is an even better Spiderman than Tobey Maguire. I was shocked.

It was nice to get out and see a movie, and doubly nice enjoying it with my boo bear.

would you believe that I have yet to see a single spiderman or a superman movie.

I read the comic books as a kid and was fascinated by those characters.

of all the comics I read, spiderman was my favorite until I discovered the phantom.

OK, I had only heard the name, but was not familiar with the Phantom at all. It is interesting how detailed these comic book characters are. There are also a lot of similarities between The Phantom and Spiderman, both being adopted and raised by their aunt and uncle. Going to college and hooking up with a long time love. That immortal thing was really cool though.

Friday, I was saying to my son how vivid these people's imaginations are. I couldn't even begin to think up all of these scenarios and keep the story straight over such a long period of time.

It's really amazing, the wonders of imagination.

I saw an article somewhere that suggested that facebook is no longer cool. they said it had become uncool.



I think it all has to do with real time/instant time response. for that reason twitter and some of the other emerging social media innovations are capturing market share from facebook.
