i don't know what the hell is going on. i just got home a little while ago.

i am reading on twitter that Rafa needed some sort of treatment.

and i am reading that he is home already. back in Mallorca.

so i am glad he is back home safely but what do we know about any treatment?

somebody said something about an "IV".

i have no details that i could see on twitter.

Rafa said he might play an Eco on grass next week.

he also said his knee is better this year.

so he might try to grab a few wins at Wimbledon.

That might not be a bad idea, especially since he at least got a feel of the grass, but rest would be good too.

I don't think this loss means much though in the grand scheme of things.

its tough to post with a cell phone. i spelled "exo" wrong.

i think he pretty much has to play an exo next week now since he so firmly believes that it is matches that will get him acclimated to grass.

at any rate he should do better at this Wimbledon because the knee is not as painful as it was last year.

I hope so. I hope he takes Wimbledon since they're playing games with the seeding, (as usual). I've gotten to the place where Wimbledon is my least favorite major. They're so snobby and unfair.

lets see how it plays out.

lets hope he emerges from Wimbledon healthy.

I think he should go play a couple of small clay events if Wimbledon does not work out. especially if he ends up exiting early.

it will be great way to stay healthy and somewhat fit and to keep those strokes sharp.

that is just my opinion.

rafa's earnings are based on old numbers.

this 9th RG crown is going to land him at least 10-12 additional endorsement deals.

people in the sports world are calling it the most amazing achievement in all of sports.

this is truly a Herculean feat of staggering proportion.

and what is more, his best is yet to come. that is what is ridiculous.

I am not betting against him at the next RG final.

I also have a feeling that he is going to go after the next Australian Open with all his might and all his resolve.

that is just how he thinks. in his mind he has to go there and make things right. that will also mean that he has captured each slam at least twice.

he will be the only one in history to achieve it if it happens.

rafa has lost some of his once supreme fitness this year.

that has left him mentally and physically depleted.

he really needs a few days of complete rest before hitting the grass courts next Wednesday in London.

he did say in halle, Germany that he needed to get more fit.

Yeah, I don't think you can actually know their net worth. You can check 50 different sites and get 50 different estimates.

I think so too. Rafa is going to go all out to win the double career slam, and he's not going to let RG go without a tremendous fight. Let's just hope he gets the necessary rest and recuperation, and I think he does it.

Well for once he's following your advice (maybe he reads Camelot). He said he was going to rest for two or three days and then leave for Wimbledon on Wednesday, which will be great. He can rest, relax, and let his latest achievement settle in, get over it, and put his head down and get back to work.

This guy is amazing.

you know those early losses at monte carlo and at Barcelona this year turned out to be a blessing.

he is not as fit as in the past so at least he did not overextend himself at all the clay events. perhaps winning all of them would have led to an injury which would have cost him RG.

obviously I am never happy that we lose monte carlo, Barcelona, and the rome masters but it is what it is. it happened and it was going to happen one day anyway.

now at least it is out the way and there will be a bit of a new beginning for Rafa for those 3 events next year.

he has plenty of time left to win those events 1-2 times again.

so those lost opportunities will furnish him with some added incentives/motivations next year and he can go into RG even more confident in 2015.

Rafa wants 10 RG crowns and he is going to go after that with all his might and all his will.

I was relieved when he lost those two tournaments, because you're going to lose sometimes, and it's better to lose at a less significant event. Had he kept winning with his substandard play he may not have been able to pull himself out of his funk.

But, having lost more than usual, he knew his RG was on the line. That boded well for him last Sunday.

Last year he lost 1st round in Wimbledon, but that too, in retrospect is a good thing. Now, if he plays reasonably well he can still pick up some valuable points.

So, it always works out in the end.

I saw this on twitter but I don't know what they are saying.

that music in the beginning is incredible. it sounds like it is from the movie "gladiator".
