You're right that it's not the first time Wawrinka has shown very poor sportsmanship on court. Tennisfan87 in TW told of an even worse episode at the USO in 2008.
I'm sure it was mainly because of his scene that the (mindless) public booed. Poor Rafa wouldn't have had a way of knowing this of course. Hopefully his people told him and he thinks a little better about who he calls a friend.

You are right Truth, people are just going to leave at TW. The good ones anyway.

I cannot imagine -30 degrees. The most we ever get around here (Chile) is, I don't know, -5 I guess. Most people do not have heat in their houses though, so it can feel really cold.

I thought Chile was a warm country. I never imagined it got cold there at all.

So Chile actually gets cold? And people don't have heat? That's sounds so strange. What do they do in the winter?

Well, it's a warm country in the summer lol. It gets very cold in the winter (though nothing like over at the US). Countries like Peru don't really get cold in the winter, but we're more to the South and there's the Los Andes mountain chain all through the country, so I'm thinking that makes it colder?.

I've never had heat in any house I've lived in. Only rich people do I think lol, mainly in apartments. In winter you just use a stove.

Some years ago I lived in the South, and the house we rented was SO cold in the Winter... the wind came in from everywhere, you could actually feel it if you put your hand in front of the plugs on the walls. In the afternoons/nights you just coulnd't be anywhere but in front of the fireplace. It was a beautiful house though, and it was on top of a hill, it had just a breathtakingly beautiful, panoramic view.

I am out here right on the ocean. icy conditions have forced the officials to close down quite a few roads and bridges around here.

cristti's pit stop is open. I created her board before I left the house.

it only takes a few seconds to change.

I just have to be home to do it. it is difficult to do with iPhone.

anyway there is good news out on rafa.

Thanks for explaining that. It's so interesting to learn from others, rather than a book. Since that's the way it is I'm sure it's just normal. I thought all of the South American countries were warm. Geography was not one of my better subjects. It's also cool to spend so much time in front of a fireplace. We had a fireplace once and it gave off a lot of heat. The whole family would gather there and talk and laugh and have a great time.

I am going to buy me an artificial log to replicate that.

I saw it. Those mountains are beautiful. Can't even imagine wide open spaces and undisturbed nature. Nothing but concrete and frame houses here.

looks like we tend to spend some time here so it will be quick and easy for all of us to update the rafa center.

and once we have enough people here, hopefully fans of other players can maintain, develop, and update their individual centers also. we got them all a good start anyway.

your place is doing well. Emma's café is doing great as well.

so we appear to be moving in the right direction anyway.

lady Carmen is also doing very cool things with her place.

we are all having fun, creating and building content, and learning things so this is all very cool.
