NeNe RHOA Cast Change Is Sheree Rejoining the Cast

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – NeNe Leakes, RHOA cast changes, the future of Sheree Whitfield, and the impact of Teresa Giudice are now impacting programming decisions at Bravo, LALATE can report. NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss and Kenya Moore are returning for RHOA 8, LALATE first exclusively reported several weeks ago. But now, one cast member is set to join the show, and Teresa Guidice’s prison sentence is impacting RHOA as well, LALATE can further exclusively report.

NeNe Leakes, Kenya and Kandi are confirmed for RHOA 8, LALATE recently reported. But who is getting fired on RHOA, and who is getting hired? A source tells LALATE that, after RHOA 6’s Reunion debacle, Bravo wanted Porsha Williams gone, but kept her due to her strong fan base. Her losing a peach, however, had nothing to do with Claudia Jordan. Rather produces were initially not set to bring Porsha back but did, and elected to downgrade her status because of the 2014 reunion, not because of Claudia Jordan.

Second, Sheree is not joining RHOA. But LALATE has not gone a year without hearing fake hiring and firing stories on RHOA. It’s about as predictable as the Ground Hog looking for his shadow or In Sync not reuniting. Every year, Sheree and countless other fake reports surface about RHOA hiring. Tamra Braxton, NeYo’s wife, and others have led these hilariously wrong reports season to season. Even a shady ATL blogger has even once (wrongly) written about herself joining the cast. LALATE forewarns fans that they should expect the same to surface in the next few weeks.

Third, producers are likely to give NeNe Leakes two to three full housewife allies on the show, to even out the balances. LALATE knows one person who is likely up to join the show if she wants it, but that decision has not been made.

Fourth, Teresa Giudice is impacting RHOA, LALATE can report. Sundays on Bravo are anchored for the last eight years by RHOA and RHONJ. RHONJ typically runs April to October. But with no RHONJ yet (and yes it is coming back), Bravo is rushing RHOA back into production sooner, starting next month. There is a fear that nothing will anchor Sunday well until RHOA is back ready to air, with the exception of Nene, Kim and Kandi’s spinoffs. In short, RHOA generally airs in October. But don’t be surprised if Bravo gets it back on air several months earlier.

Porsha didn't show up. Surprise, surprise. Nene was at P Diddy's. You know she wouldn't have let Porsha tag along. When will they ever get it?

Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, And Claudia Jordan Celebrate Kandi Burruss’ Birthday

I t seems that Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss have resolved their issues and are back to being good friends. On Sunday, Kandi celebrated her birthday by holding a big birthday bash. In attendance were many of her The Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars, including Phaedra, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Claudia Jordan, and Demetria McKinney.

Kandi posted numerous photos of the party. One photo shows Kandi standing next to Phaedra, with their arms around each other. Kandi’s caption for the photo included a take on Phaedra’s favorite saying “Fix it Jesus.” Kandi, likely in reference to her broken friendship with Phaedra, declared that “Jesus fixed it!”

On Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the state of Kandi and Phaedra’s friendship was a major storyline. Good friends for several years, their friendship with one another took a hit when Phaedra felt that Kandi wasn’t there for her as she went through the demise of her marriage to Apollo Nida and his incarceration. Phaedra publicly said that NeNe, and not Kandi, was there for her the most and that she’s disappointed in Kandi.

As the season aired and Kandi watched the episodes, she was incensed that Phaedra spoke to NeNe Leakes and Porsha Williams about her feelings regarding their friendship rather than to her directly. Kandi was especially hurt over Phaedra’s comments that dismissed the issues that Kandi was going through in her own life at that time. At the reunion show, Kandi emotionally confronted Phaedra about her comments.

    “Phaedra, when you sit up there on TV and was like, ‘Well she just lost a business deal… money can make me happy…,’ as if that’s the only thing that was going on… I told you about the prison situation with my other family member. And I told you what was going on. Even when I mentioned to her about the play being cancelled, she was like, ‘I saw that somewhere.’ It wasn’t like she texted me saying, ‘Girl I hate that that happened to you.’ So it’s just like to me, it almost ends up being like a lopsided friendship with you always expecting me to be here here here but you ain’t doing that. When she graduated, I blocked my calendar so that I could drive HOURS to see her and be there for her. And every time they [Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey and Claudia Jordan] say something, I always stand up for her. So to see her trying to play me like, oh all I cared about was money, I was like, ‘Really? Oh okay. Well you ain’t gotta worry about it no more.'”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, during an interview after filming the reunion show, Kandi said “whatever” to the prospect of being friends with Phaedra again. Kandi admitted that she’s not sure that she can trust Phaedra again and be anything more than cordial acquaintances.

Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Claudia Jordan, and Demetria McKinney also celebrated Kandi’s birthday with her. Kandi posted one photo of herself with Claudia, Kenya and Demetria and another photo with Claudia, Demetria and Cynthia.

Porsha Williams seems to have missed out on Kandi Burruss’ birthday party. Not surprisingly, NeNe Leakes wasn’t there either. It’s likely that NeNe didn’t receive an invite and even if she did, she wouldn’t have accepted. At The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion show, NeNe admitted that she was referring to Kandi when she tweeted about her number one hater on the show. Kandi responded by outing NeNe for blasting people with private information once they’re no longer friends and outright told her that she doesn’t like her “superior, stank a** attitude.”

Wow- I missed that Instagram in March.

Question- did you see Kenya's Instagram video of her in Vegas and the camera panning from her to the tall bald guy standing in front of the stage that looked an awful lot like James?  I thought that was odd. I saw it the night of the fight but I dismissed it - then FLY brought it to my attention again and I was like ok- I'm not the only one seeing this.

 Oh, here is the quote from TT from that same post:

I can share that this is a very painful time for Kenya. Tamara said she wasn't sure about fight night because some people said it was him, but others said he wasn't there, and Kenya's instagram said, "waiting patiently for my baby," which can be interpreted either way. So...

But, I found a comment where Tamara said they spent a lot of time together in March. How about that? Even more interesting, huh.

Yes, it is interesting. I believe Kenya is emailing TT and it is also why she is probably going off on anyone making the least bit negative statement- even more than usual.  She knows Kenya is reading those comments.

I just think it is odd the way Kenya kept panning from herself to the the bald guy several times. I wonder if by this time she DID know he was at least claiming to be married but, convinced him to meet her a last time.  I also wonder If he had convinced her not to film him for obvious reasons and she was getting some "receipts" while he wasn't looking. The panning back and forth is too obvious and deliberate IMO.
Tamara specifically mentioned them seeing each other quite a bit in March which means he must have flipped the switch on her the month of April when he supposedly got married.
Just trying to make sense of some things. I wonder if Tamara or Kenya will ever tell.
