Although I was born & educated in England & still live in England I think I've inherited most of the Scottish genes. The reason why I think this is I've definitely got Scottish hair, have always loved the sound of bagpipes & seem to fit in more in Scotland than England. I've got the Yorkshire accent what I can turn off when speaking as I've got a sing-song voice too. I've got the Scots/Irish temper. I never got less than 5 questions wrong in French at school so I think that's what I got from the French ancestors.

The information about the Castle was very interesting. I love that song. The singer was very good & I heard bagpipes which are my favourite musical instrument. I have saved the family crest of the Douglas's as my Great-Grandma was a Douglas. I hope you don't mind.

Hi! With my Great-Grandma's ancestors being mentioned a lot it had particular interest to me. I've done as much genealogical research as I can but with me living South of the Border some of the information is hard to get. I only manage to get it on holidays & through web-searches. That sounds very interesting. Thank you very much.

Hi. It's finding the time to research and post but, like you, enjoy the task of doing so
