ok I will tell you now. ha ha.

when I first got reasonably good in tennis, I noticed that I usually had some sort of green in my tennis attire. either the stripes in the sox had a hint of green or the shirts. and even occasionally the shorts.

strictly a coincidence. there was usually something green that I was wearing. so it was pure coincidence at first with some of that green.

I also noticed that when I consciously increased the green that I was wearing I started winning most of my matches in the early days.

so that was it. I was sold on green and hooked on green. I even started carrying green pens to school. I would have green pens in my car as well as in my pockets.

I think you may already know that tennis players are naturally superstitious. I just took that to an extreme.

my mom and dad thought I was a little bit crazy of course but I had 2-3 green pens on me at all times.

so there you have it. I did not break that habit until I was out of grad school and teaching.

ha ha. so me and green color get along just fine.

I messed it up.

dark green was too dark.

st. Patrick's day green put a leaf up at the top which I could not get rid of.

I am not sure about the light green.

now we will have to figure out how to get the original look back.

Beautiful Sire And you to lady j, omg ill never catch to beautiful things you have applied. The castles iv such history dear. But ill try my dear friends, I've some poems from a time ago, just having to find them. Had friend a friend that was in the Vietnam war and he let me be his listening post. Which was shock for me because alot ov vets wont talk about it. So I did a poem for him,about what he had told me. Now hes no longer around, sad as it may be. I still remember the pain he was in PTSD.

Lady V, that is said that your friend suffered from that, my brother-in-law does as well. He was lucky to have had a friend in you, someone who would be there for him, to listen to him when he needed to talk.

our castles here are replete and shining with such amazing colors from all over the globe.

in a way we have all brought them back to life.

I think it is a beautiful thing: it gives us a chance to capture a glimpse of fascinating history.
