Hello

This website is a treasure I am so excited to be here. Fitness is an important element in our daily life. We prep our food and we are at the gym 6 days a week hands down.

What is fundamentally important is how we fuel our bodies to get maximum benefits from what we eat to push us through our days.

We learnt to meditate in Middle School R.E. classes as a break from Bible lessons. We mainly did visualisation techniques but sometimes had to draw what we saw afterwards. After my Gran died when I was in High School I got headaches & migraines for 10 months which I later found were caused by worrying too much & getting too upset. Painkillers didn't work. They put me on Sanomigran to take everyday to prevent them. All it did was make me sleep. Peppermint tea & meditation worked a lot better.

For anyone who is interested.

This is the meditation I like to do. It takes about 20 minutes.

Sit or lay comfortably & close your eyes.

Imagine it is a bright, sunny & warm day. You decide to go for a walk. You walk through your beautiful garden which has lots of daffodils & red, orange, yellow & pink carnations & daffodils. You go down your garden steps to your front path. There are 3 steps. 1. 2. 3. You walk down your path & open your gate. Then you walk to your beach. You lay on the nice, relaxing sand & hear the soft, gentle waves & the sound of the sea gulls. You close your eyes for a while & listen. Then when you are ready & fully relaxed you get up & go home slowly.

Slowly, when you are ready open your eyes, have a good stretch & go about your daily business.
