Superiority to Fate
Is difficult to gain
’Tis not conferred of Any
But possible to earn
A pittance at a time
Until to Her surprise
The Soul with strict economy
Subsist till Paradise.

I'm in love with summer.
Standstill air,
dandelions drifting
the weight of the sky
pressing white heat.
Cold, waves beating the shore,
ceaselessly into the past,
of when I was drowned
in your dreams.
I'm in love with autumn.
Crisp air,
Nudging leaves off gnarly oaks
and tall, regal cedars.
Lost in the anagram of colors,
I see fire,
I see blood red.
I see a Faustian bargain
but we won.
I'm in love with winter.
The biting cold in my fingertips,
the solitude of confinement,
walls of windows show snow
that blankets every edge.
And the birds that have left,
to warmer places.
Opportunity, that's what you said.
And your bags, and you,
were gone in the blowing snow.
I'm in love with the spring.
The clear blue waters,
and ferryboats beating against the current,
the gardens bursting into light,
the promise of growth and
of future
and of hope.
but, I guess, we weren't meant to grow old.
And the sight of spring flowers
and trees with bright green buds,
makes me sick to my stomach.
I am in hate with the spring.

Have you felt so heartbroken,
Wishing you were omnipotent.
Do you sometimes feel worthless,
Your future seems uncertain.
Weak and hopeless,
Unwanted and useless.
Forgotten and placed aside,
Left alone outside.
Everything so surreal,
No longer appeal.
Love was desirable,
Like an amazing miracle.
I thought I was responsible,
Thinking this was bearable.
But I was definitely incapable.
I was so terrible,
I thought this relationship was durable
But in reality, was just vulnerable.
I thought this pain was repairable
The end was inevitable,
My predictions were simply remarkable,
As it ended up really horrible.

The essence of love
We humans have it all wrong
We force expectations for we want to belong
The joy of the fresh & the new love
Misguided insecurities complex & woven jealousies
Disturb the purity the true essence of love
The elated joy that swells our heart
Plummets to death when we're apart
The essence of love
When it's true & meant to be
Falls into place
Where you are you and I am me
When we unite
It feels as though time & space
Is oblivious when we come face to face
The essence of love
When freely enjoyed & expressed
Allows our greatest love to manifest
Where love is enveloped with trust integrity & respect
The essence of love

Over the shadows
Is a day where colors are made
Each moment we talk,we meet and smile.
Each moment we fight and then anger put to side.
Has a pinch of color to offer,
Smile and giggles spread in the air,
Heart jumps, shouts,laugh and flies
As if grown with feather.
A perfect day that begin with splendour
Where we weave the world of ours through the words together.
Where I see the picture of desire
and all dismay burn to fire
During the evening space shrink , time stand still
I see a sweet plunder of hearts that has begin,
In the nights ,colors appeared
A beautiful midnight rainbow was formed
Whose ends rest on two heart,
The night was about to slip
I closed my eyes and wished
Another day that will hold us together
then sleep comes and touches my eyes as the ray of satisfaction
As this was the only I wanted since ever..

We burn alone but not for long
We live and learn and play our song
Forget the past you lived apon
I have remembered but moved on
Tonight we live the past once missed
You looked at me we missed our kiss
It's now too late the feeling fades
I showed you wonders never said
Tonight you laid here dead asleep
Can't help but wonder what would we be
Two years ago this made much sense
I've left you here with lost intent
Tonight your thoughts have left your fears
Opened up a late long run
But I'm to fade away and loose this game
This candle light has burned away

Your heart is broken
Trust is gone
My word I've spoken
It did belong
Why is it so difficult for your to understand
We had a multitude of conversations
Why do I continue to feel bland
Words are forgotten action pronounced our separation
Tears are streaming down my face
I try to explain my situation My time and place
You refuse to listen to me
I am tired of repeating myself, just let it be
I am forlorn with grief
I am of disbelief
I am turning over a new leaf
I need not make this my beef
Your heart is broken
Trust was gone so long ago
My words are spoken
It did belong
This time I know it's wrong

a heart is made up of muscles,
to pump blood and keep us alive.
But, why does it hurt when someone leave us?
'cause in our mind,
we made an imaginary heart.
Like cinderella's shoes made of glass.
When we try to fit someone inside,
who is not meant for that place
it gets broken.

I thought I knew love
Through and through like a well-thumbed book
My favourite movie on repeat that I know all the words too
In most parts
I play out tragedies
So beautifully painful a feeling cannot describe
The author hanging a fountain pen
Above my head
Ready to strike out any happiness
I thought I knew myself
From the back of my hand to my palm
All intricate lines crossing
Running alongside
Reaching out
So beautifully carved within my skin
The maker unhappy with his work
Frustrated
Ready to squish and start again
I thought I knew life
From its coincidental existence
To its many choices and turns
My empathy harms me here
A big heart
Has no place in a world
So beautifully ugly, with the human race and our endeavours
That there must be something
To hold onto
Something to live for
And I’ve suddenly found it.
Everything.
All.
In a flash of spirit and soul I understand love, myself and above all life.
In my existence there’s only you, and you alone.
That’s all we need.
All I need.
All others need.
Unconditional love

the green-leaved black willow
that is slowly drinking
the pond's western edge
meadow is filling
up with stilt spiders,
their web orbs
deathtraps ... the setting
haunting under
moonlight silhouette.
the tree doesn't speak,
her feet underwater,
fearsome unseen yardage
of gnarled
black toenails ...
she is a queen
her leaves dressed
with web
and wings from crane flies,
who are
mating in flight
in her overwater sphere
and dancing at the edges
of the spiders' silky netting.
the willow
will soon rid herself,
time on a wheel,
of spiders and flies,
their battleground forfeited
in a moment of nature's demise,
as one by one in the pond
the fallen dead
will follow
feeding the fish below who love
that black willow.

What does the heart
Do to me, to you
Why does it hurt
If I lost you
When will it start
Thinking things we want to
Where's the place apart
This spaces between our hearts
Who can tell me
Who can tell you.

You are the Moon and my heart is the tide.
Constantly pushing
and pulling.
This back and forth,
frothing and crashing turbulent wave cycle,
it's exhausting.
I cling to the bow of this ship,
hoping the calm between stretches longer this time.
Why couldn't I have fallen in love with a placid river?
