I am glad you enjoyed them and that I have a place like Camelot to share them.

I started this thread as a place for me to share a little of my poetic side. Although I currently write erotic romance stories, poetry will always have a huge hold on my heart. It is a way for all of us to get through, overcome, and share our pains and joys.

I hope you will all please feel free to share your own poetry here with me...

Here is a poem I wrote recently. I wanted to share it here with all of you who have been so kind, welcoming, and encouraging. We all have a past that no one knows about or has lived. This poem was a sort of therapy for me to write down.



Through the years I have walked and pondered;
Darkness and Light, in both I have wandered.
My strength has gone and my knees have been weak;
My tongue would get tied whenever I’d speak.
I look within myself and just want to cry;
To think of the chances I let pass me by.
I look to the heavens for guidance and direction;
I prayed for friendship, acceptance, and protection.
I think back on the horrors I have survived;
And I am thankful to have come out alive.
No one knows the roads that I have walked;
They all like to judge without me having a chance to talk.
They do not know the pain that I went through;
Oh lord, if they just only knew.
The sickness I've suffered and the terrible abuse;
The feeling within that I am of no use.
They know not the tears that I have shed;
Lying there, alone in my bed.
Memories are obstacles that still torture my mind;
So many times I wished that my memories were blind.
They do not know that I hide behind my smile;
That I have truly walked the extra mile.
Each word that I speak is straight from my heart;
How my friendship and acceptance to all is my own fresh start.
I wish no one would have to endure the past I have had;
That they never have a moment when they are down or sad.
I wish for all to live a life filled with nothing but glee;
So a much better world there would most assuredly be.

I had so many things going through my mind tonight (early morning). So this will be one of those "ramblings"
So many people do things as a show, to gain recognition, to achieve greatness stature, or to receive praise. But that is the wrong reason to do anything. I do not think you should do the right thing for yourself, you should do it because it is right, and for no other reason than because you are able to do so...and do it without expecting anything in return.


Be That Person, But No One Needs To Know


The one who sits with someone because you don't want them to feel alone.
You have felt that way before, but no one needs to know.

The one who shares a smile because you know that it can change a person's day.
You have seen too many days without sun, but no one needs to know.

The one who others can talk to and trust because you know they need someone.
You do not have someone like that, but no one needs to know.

The one who gives a hug to someone needing comfort because that hug can make them feel safe.
You have many fears, but no one needs to know.

The one who visits friends when they are sick because company can help improve their spirit.
You have been suffering inside, but no one needs to know.

The one who speaks to the outcast because you know that being different makes you unique.
You have been mocked before, but no one needs to know.

The one who stays up to do your work because you were helping others with theirs all day.
You are behind and will lose sleep, but no one needs to know.

The one who does what they can to motivate people because you know they are capable of greatness.
You are alone, without that motivation, but no one needs to know.

The one who shares a kind word with everyone because you do not know what their day has been like.
You have been depressed for a while, but no one needs to know.

The one who volunteers at shelters because you do not want others to go without their needs.
You have been without before, but no one needs to know.

The one who is a friend, a cheerleader, a confidant because everyone needs one.
You do these things without expecting anything in return because you know what it's like to not have them.
But no one needs to know.

Jenny my dear, you are the one with talent my dear. The way you reveal your luv in a healing way, compensates for your pain. Beautiful again I say. Thank you for sharing  your heart & soul not easy to do, I know thats true.
