Hello.

I'm taking advantage of the bad weather by catching up with some online forums.
I hope everyone is doing fine. I have one week of work ahead of me, then my company is closing for the holidays and I will be on my way to Bosnia as well.
Interesting article about Hewitt. Actually with all the injuries and really losses he has had this year and the years before, I thought he would really retire anytime soon. When I hadn't heard from him for a while, I even thought that he had already retired until - suddenly - I saw him popping up on a scoreboard of a tournament I was following.
I have never been the biggest fan of him but I admit that I was following every single one of his matches when he and Clijsters were together. Mainly because I wanted to spot her in the crowd. They were, like, my #1 tennis couple.
Nikki the globe trotter.
morning Nikki. long time no see. I think you and Embla are the most traveled people here at Camelot.
I don't know much about Bosnia. have a safe flight and have a blast.
and also let me take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a very merry Christmas.
Hewitt seems to be a popular dude with a lot of players.
I know Federer and Nadal praised him in he past.
he has started a few business ventures. that could be another reason why he is hanging around the sport. he wants to keep his name in the spotlight.
I have noticed that he is popular at these forums also.
I never followed him back in his day so I am not really sure how good he was. guess he is known for his fighting spirit and the also the fact that he was the youngest world #1.
Morning everyone.
Hewitt was never popular in his days but now that he's on the verge of retiring and had gone through a lot of injuries since 2003, obviously it's easier to like him. I've always been a big fan of him; in fact, he's the one I supported after Pete's retirement while everyone was far more into Safin. I liked Safin's game but wasn't a big fan of his personality and since I don't care for looks, it had no affect on me either.
We are being snowed in today but more importantly, I have just finished doing my laundry and now I need to fold them. Who's with me please raise your hand! lol
But seriously, it seems I am stuck at home all day today. I may go shopping but then again not thrilled about driving in the constant snow. Catch a movie later perhaps? Dunno either.
Thanks, CD. I also wish you happy holidays.
It was snowing a bit today. Fortunately the snow turned into rain but sadly it has been raining almost non-stop since this morning.

Great work, herc. I am sure they will come handy in time.

I'm a fan. I've always rooted for the player who has obvious limitations. Hewitt being so small in a tall man's game. His fighting spirit was a sight to behold, and he's a cutie, too.
Would have really liked some nice dinner and wine tonight but I have neither. I can order in of course but I don't think I can order wine the same way. lol oh well.
Anyway, in the meantime though, I have successfully folded all my laundry and made salad. Folding laundries has got to be one of the most boring things on this planet, for me anyway, but I had the music on, so it wasn't so bad. But believe it or not, one of my friends thoroughly enjoy doing the laundry. I suppose it's the freshness of it that draws her in the first. Perhaps I should tell her that though I don't mean to psychoanalyze this. lol
